  1. Thanks, Jerrod! Thanks, Shawn. Yep... Flickr... best compression out of any photo storage site on the net. Thanks for the compliments, Tim. Means a lot coming from a fellow photog. I'll definitely shoot you a PM when I'm down your way. I'm a nikon guy and I shoot on a D300, but I haven't ruled out Canon because of their video capability. It's pretty damn sweet. And you had an Accord? Awesome! I just upgraded the suspension so I'm happier than a clam in the sand. Thanks, Patrick. Thanks, Erica. I used to shoot weddings, but I didn't like the environment so now I stick to mainly sporting events and cars, but I like to shoot nature photography and macro when I can. I like to shoot as many pictures as I can! Thanks, Phil. Guess that means a lot if you're the forum asshole... I'll take it as a compliment, and I appreciate it whole heartedly (from one a-hole to another) Thanks, Sean. I've worked hard on the exhaust to get the car sounding just the way I want it, and it definitely gets a lot of compliments. We'll have to meet up sometime so you can hear it.
  2. Yeah, they aren't bad. They'll probably look a million times better with the drop. They'll be on during the winter.
  3. Thanks! I've seen some ridiculous looking Accords, and I've always liked the simple wheels. Between these Mugen GPs and the Volk TE 37s, I'm a fan of the simple 6-8 spoke wheels. Thanks, Doc. I'm going to try and make it out to a few once I figure when/where they are. Thanks, Lee. Some people just get it better than others. I've been on your guys end on other forums and dealing with ignorance isn't fun. Thanks for the compliments, Aaron. For people I know, I don't really charge for photos. Gas money and lunch is usually all it takes! Photos are fun... and in the car world, I'm not in it to make money. I do that in other aspects of my freelance photos. Thanks, Michael. Thanks, Kirk. I could slam it, but, as we all know, the roads in Ohio (and especially up here in BG and Toledo) aren't great. It's just not practical. I was sitting at 3 inches of wheel gap prior to the drop. Thanks, Chris! Thanks! Thanks, Jordan. Thanks, Steve! It's exactly what I was going for. Here's a link to the rest of my photos. Let me know what you guys think. Happy to be here! http://www.flickr.com/photos/toddpavlack/sets/
  4. I didn't know people like Dominos that much! Haha! You're talking about Myles. And I would agree with your review of it. Thanks for the comments!
  5. Hey everyone on CR! I figured I would check out the site, register, and get to know the scene down here. More on that in a second. The personal info My name is Todd, and I'm a 26 year old college instructor/staff member at Terra State Community College in Fremont, Ohio. I teach photography, computer courses, and anything else they need me to. I also design and build smart classrooms. Now on to the cars and why I joined. Why I joined CR I'm planning on moving down to Columbus from Bowling Green (where I live and went to undergraduate and graduate school). I have a large number of friends that live in and around the area, and me and a high school friend are going to start a photo business down there when he gets out of his job in Washington D.C. in 2 years. Cars I drive a 2003 Honda Accord V6 6speed. It's currently got 144k on the clock. It's my daily driver, and I drive it EVERYWHERE. Here's a picture of the car in stock form: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4101/4909054843_3403f15064_b.jpg When I first got into modding the car (I bought it from the original owner in March of 2006), I quickly realized that there weren't many power mods available for the V6 versions of the Accord. I started out with a Borla exhaust with a custom J-pipe, AEM V2 CAI, and an underdrive pulley. Fast forward a few years, and now I have new AMR coilovers, new wheels, and upgraded front and rear sway bars. It handles really nicely, and looks even better. Here's the car as it sits now: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4076/4869312457_5fc9d736b2_b.jpg Dropped to a 1 finger gap all the way around http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4134/4869923138_051da0cf23_b.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4075/4869311185_999b31b3b5_b.jpg *That's an upside down sway bar sticking down in the front... getting it turned around this weekend. The car ran a 13.98 on DRs at Norwalk. On street tires, it ran consistent 14.3x all day. Not too bad for a good DD that gets 28-35 mpg depending on how I drive it. Previous cars included a 1999 Dodge Caravan (first "car" and a 1997 Volkswagen Jetta GLX Vr6<--loved that car, but had too many electrical issues) Hobbies As I said, I teach photography, and I enjoy photography immensely. I shoot with a Nikon D300. I enjoy shooting sports, and I shoot for BGSU Athletics. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2589/4130679236_0dee49c44a_z.jpg I also shoot cars from time to time for members of ToledoTuners. Cars are fun to shoot, but its tough competing with other car photographers. I try and stick to the rolling car shots. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2528/3825774318_13fec0bbe3_o.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2513/3758958901_5ea966b2ca_o.jpg I also shoot and edit videos, although I prefer photography over video. Here's a promo I shot for NWOR SCCA and ToledoTuners from last year. I'm also into road racing (I spend at least 6 weekends a year at Mid Ohio) and sprint car racing (I drive from time to time if I can get a ride in my friend's 410). Anyways, if you read through all of that... thanks! I'm in Columbus a lot during the year, so I hope to get involved and check out the meets when I get down there. Anything else you want to know, just ask. Thanks for reading!
