Where the fuck are you guys getting your information?! lol, Isuzu made the 4xe1 engine. Its design has been around since the early/mid 80's. Not that it helps my sale out at all. The only other person who had involvement in the manufacturing and designing of Isuzu cars, was General Motors. Hence the Delco ignition system, IAC, MAP Sensor, and GM ECU. GEO was a fake brand created to "Americanize" poorly selling Japanese cars during the 90's. Geo Metro-SUZUKI SWIFT, Geo Prism-TOYOTA COROLLA, Geo Storm-ISUZU IMPULSE etc... In case you were born under a rock or bought into their marketing. BTW, Geo Storms outsold Isuzu Impulses.

Not 100% sure on this model, but most jap cars you have to spin the piston as you compress it. Autozone has a loan a tool program for a tool that makes it easy as cake.

Thanks to everyone who applied. There were 2 technician positions that were open. 1 of them is filled, the other one they are trying to promote internally. If that does not go through, there will be an official technician spot open again in Feb. All applications are held for 90 days, so dont give your hopes up just yet! No. not at all.

Actually, the engine is built by Isuzu. Isuzu is primarily a diesel manufacturer so their early engines were strong; forged crank and rods. With the RS turbo setup, 200whp can be seen all day. The new alternator is installed, an aftermarket ignition switch with key now replaces the push button start. I have some brand new strut mounts, Impulse RS springs, magnaflow muffler, and some other stuff I will throw in. Also, the pic shows a doughnut on the right rear wheel: I have all 4 mags and center caps. I just need to get 1 tire repaired. This is the DOHC 1.6l model. Its a zippy little thing and would make a fine work/winter car. It is black and the hatchback model. It has a push button start because the keys were lost at some point. This car is easy to convert to turbo if you find someone parting out an Isuzu Impulse RS. They go for 3-400 bucks for EVERYTHING! I am installing a new alternator today. Pics and more info to come. Asking 800 dollars.
