  1. I'll take both...Check your PM for contact info
  2. I had the same problem. I ended up cutting a hole in the back and wiring up a radio shack fan to a switch. I'd turn it on whenever my receiver/xbox was on to help keep them cool. Cost me 30 bucks at radio shack for the parts. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062494&filterName=Type&filterValue=SPST - Switch http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102825&filterName=Brand&filterValue=RadioShack - Fan And I just cut up an old extension cord for power. I had the fan pulling the air out of the entertainment center to exhaust the hot air. You could put your hand in front of the door and feel it pulling air through.
  3. I thought the same thing about my SR swap, but you would be surprised how many US companies carry or can order JDM parts with little to no hassle.
  4. http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn148/alty94/77502hh5withnas2.jpg But in all seriousness.....RB is the way to go. No doubt the 2jz is a strong motor, but IMHO Nissan's RB is nothing to sneeze at either. The 2.6 can be stroked to 3.1 and a big single turbo setup = MONSTER..... And yes I'm a Nissan fanboy so take my opinion with a grain of salt I guess.
  5. +1000 Keep it in the family...RB26DETT The RB is a strong motor. If you can find one from one of the jap shops online, the better choice would be the ultra rare RB26DETT Z2. It uses the stronger RB26 N-1 block, modified with Nismo parts, bored and stroked to 2.8 L (87.0 x 77.7 mm) , which produces 510 bhp and 540 N·m of torque.
  6. Correction: East Main St. in Reynoldsburg
  7. Do you have any pics of the underbody ? I'm looking for a clean shell as mine has rust on/in the frame rails.
  8. I'm looking at a Profec B II from Greddy. My buddy has one on his WRX and he has not had any boost creep problems (yet) I'll leave a manual gauge on it to verify and hopefully if the solenoid goes, I'll catch it in time
  9. Agreed, but they did a nice weld job on it. The transition is smooth and doesnt seem to effect anything. I'm running the stock turbo with stock ecu and waste gate, so it's only at 7psi right now. I have more fuel than I need (big fuel pump and injectors) and will probably pick up a boost controller in the next few weeks and start slowly up-ing the boost while trying to keep my A/R closer towards the rich side.
  10. It does...from the turbo it goes 2 then 2.5 to the IC. Not sure why it's like that and it's something I'm looking at replacing. It's hard to see in this pic, but it does the exact opposite on the intake. it goes from 2.25 (roughly) to 3 after the MAF. There is a silicone coupler that expands it to 3. I'll take a side angle pic to show you what I mean.
  11. Thanks John ! Thanks for the info on the site
  12. I've had the car for a few years with no issues on the Pano roof yet (knock on wood) but it's noisy as hell on the freeway when it's closed. Needs readjusted to make a tighter seal when closed.
  13. Hey all ! My name is Eric, I'm 30 from Canal Winchester. My newest project/toy is a 1989 Nissan 240sx SE with a swapped sr20det. It's a total rust bucket and I'm currently looking for another shell, but it's fun to drive Sorry no exterior shots yet of the 240....I'll take some this week. http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn148/alty94/IMAG0262.jpg My daily driver/winter/family hauler car is a 05 Pontiac G6 GT. http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn148/alty94/G6/DSC00095.jpg Took a break from the scene for a while and had a few kids...Now that they are getting a little older, I finally get to start re-acquiring my toys That's about it....any questions and what not, just let me know ! -E
