  1. Who said they will be top 5 after this loss?
  2. How about we beat Northwesterm first then worry about Nebraska? They look more impressive than Nebraska the past few weeks...
  3. After sleeping on it and thinking about it more, here are my thoughts about last night... It's a good thing we lost. We are still in complete control of our own destiny with a shot at the playoff. There are clearly a lot of things we need to fix on offense and I honestly believe if we pulled out the win last night they wouldn't be fixed. With the loss, Urban won't sleep until it is fixed. We forget that this team is the youngest team in College football. They're going to make mistakes. I've been saying ever since MSU imploded that we could afford 1 loss to any team as long as it wasn't to Michigan. I truly believe we will correct the offense and go on a tear from here on. The Michigan game will still feature two top 5 teams. The season is far from over guys, losses happen.
  4. GOTta figure out the offense. Either JT needs to man up or the play calling needs to get better... or both. I hope this was a wake up call for us. We still control our own destiny luckily.
  5. Holy fucking shit. So Alabama has a CLEAR targeting hit on A&M on a kick return and it's not even reviewed then A&M gets a targeting call and they're player is ejected. What a complete fucking joke.
  6. Iowa and Wisconsin play at noon. Should be interesting
  7. I'd say keep the z06 and buy a crew cab work truck/family hauler honestly. If it were me, I'd miss the z06 within a week of getting rid of it.
  8. Man if I could sell my Jeep I would seriously consider buying that
  9. I wouldn't say he's a "cali guy." He is most certainly a Texas guy. He was born in Cincinnati, went to college in California and his list of coaching locations are as follows... Texas Lutheran (1988) WR Coach Texas (1999/2000) GA Sam Houston State (2001-2004) WR coach Texas State (2005-2006) OC Rice (2007-2008) OC Iowa State (2009-2011) OC Ohio State (2012-2014) OC Houston (2015-Present) HC I think the biggest possibilities for him are Texas or LSU. He seems to be comfortable in that region and with recruiting there. I could agree with the 4/10. Penn State is one of those teams that plays us tough typically and it's at their place at night. I was reading on Penn State's message board and most of their fans there are not confident at all with PSU's chance to win. I guess they have a really weak offensive line and they are afraid of OSU's pass rush. I think that will be the key factor in the game. Penn State has really good receivers so if we can get to the QB before he has time to hit them down field, I think we will be fine.
  10. Ended up just being the left front axle. Stealership quoted me $1475... another local shop quoted me $280 :dumb:
  11. So the tech said it could be the axle without fully diagnosing it which is what I'm hoping for.
  12. 04. I'm a little concerned about the towing cost to Delaware? The car will be in Dublin so I guess it's not too far actually
  13. Maybe they were smart? That pick seems to be paying off pretty well
  14. So my transmission just went out on my way to work (I think). I get free towing through geico so I called them but they made me pick a place to take it while I was on the phone with them. I told them Acura of Columbus because I wasn't sure where else. I highly doubt I'll keep it there because stealership but what I'm wanting to know is if any of you have any recommendations for a place that does good, cheap transmission work. Thanks.
  15. Slightly off-topic but how about Zeke? Dude is just straight beasting on teams right now. Green Bay had averaged allowing 50 rush yards per game and he lit them up for 156 yards. He's far and away the leader in rushing yards and he's on pace to have almost 1900 yards rushing this season along with about 300 yards receiving. Here is a comparison between Elliot's projected stats thus far and Adrian Peterson's far and away best season in 2012... Elliot: 1875 rush yards 5.1 average 13 TDs/ 261 receiving yards Total Yards: 2136 Peterson: 2097 rushing yards 6.0 average 12 TDs/ 217 receiving yards Total Yards: 2314 I know there are still a lot of games left to be played, but if Elliot stays on this path, it will possibly be the greatest rookie season ever. He's only 21 years old.
  16. Wisconsin was tied late into the 4th quarter @Michigan who you regard as a great football team. So Wisconsin lost by a TD to two top 3 teams where as Ole Miss lost to a team (Florida State) who got DESTROYED by Louisville by like 50 points. Did you even watch the game? Did you hear how loud it was there??? We don't have Cardale but Joe Burrow is a more than serviceable backup and I honestly think he is a better passer than Barrett. He isn't quite as good on the ground as Barrett but he can still move. I honestly wouldn't be concerned if Burrow was playing especially the way Barrett is passing right now. I honestly think he might be somewhat hurt but that information isn't getting out because they don't want the distraction of another controversy. I think Alabama is above Ohio State right now, but on the field anything can happen. I thought Alabama was better than us in 2014 and we saw how that went. All we can hope is that they meet this year in the playoff and hopefully it's the National Championship with everything on the line. I think it could potentially be one of the greatest National Championship games ever. Two GOAT coaches and programs squaring off again.
  17. What is your basis from this statement? Wisconsin > Tennessee and playing at Camp Randall at night is one of if not the toughest place to play in the country. Alabama would struggle mightily playing there at night and they would potentially lose just like Ohio State. You have no substance to your statements and you just come off as ignorant. Alabama has looked good, but to say Ohio State is "weak" after they just beat a top 10 team on the road at night is just plain stupid.
  18. Both sides of the ball look HORRIBLE
  19. Great intro. Best I've seen in a while. Whalecum!
  20. Score predictions for tomorrow night? I think the score will depend a lot on the weather. Rainy and windy will benefit Wisconsin I think because it will essentially eliminate our passing game and Wisky will be able to load the box to try and stop our run. I think a key factor for the Buckeyes is forcing turnovers and not giving them away. Hornibrook makes pretty accurate passes but if you ever watch him, he pretty much lobs it and it takes forever to get the receiver if it's more than a 15 yard pass. Our DBs are by far the fastest he's seen and probably will ever see. If he throws some of those air balls, our DBs should be able to react and get to the ball. I see Samuel having a huge game and Barrett doing a lot on the ground like he did last week. Buckeyes win 34-16
  21. Fortunately for him I'm not his only friend haha. Depending on when you guys go, I might swing by a few brews
  22. Damn I don't think I can make next weekend my buddy is coming into town for the weekend
