I'm 90% sure my alternator took a shit on me. The battery light came on, the car slowly died. I jump started it, and it just ran the battery down again and died again. I noticed when the battery light first came on, I hit a bump and it went off, hit another bump and it came back on. I will be going through the wiring tomorrow to rule that out, but if the alternator turns out bad are there any local shops that rebuild them? I don't want to purchase a radioactive one from Japan unless I have to. Does anyone have a 1jz alternator they would consider selling?
