  1. Must be that time of year. .

It must be....my truck just died out of nowhere two days ago. Threw it on a trickle charger overnight, fired right up....then died again next day. Put a new battery in last night and good to go now. Old battery doesn't owe me anything though....original OEM from a 2012 F150 with 61k miles now.

Radio, I would recommend taking your terminals off and actually cleaning them with a wire brush as that will get 99% of the corrosion off vs blowing on it which just gets the loose surface stuff. There is a specific battery terminal wire brush tool you can get for about $4 bucks at any auto store. Even if the issue is the alt on your car, just that you saw some corrosion means it could use a good cleaning likely. Just a thought.

  2. Don't fuck around with this kind of stuff if you're clueless (no offense, but that appears to be the case). Spending the money now will save you big time in the future.

This. And any verbal agreement or understanding you have with your partner (Or partners), it didn't happen if it is not down on paper in written form, clearly spelling out whatever the agreement is, signed and dated by both parties.

Everything changes in time, people change, business needs change, get it spelled out who is responsible exactly for what and how. And have a decent attorney review any addendum's or alterations to the original agreement.

Just a suggestion based on lot of experience. :-)

  3. Selling my Charger as never intended to keep it long after trading it for the Mach 1 but I do admit, it was a far more enjoyable car then I anticipated but I have my eye on something else now which is going to be my long term project car for next few years... :-)

Link to Craigslist: If you know of anybody looking for something like this, have them drop me a line. The car overall is in pretty good shape for sure, I went over it top to bottom myself and then also had my mechanic do the same when I got it in February, the Craiglist ad points out the few minor things off on it.

Just got it back from my brother in law as his car died the final death about 5 months ago so I gave him the Charger to drive for the summer in Pittsburg while he saved up money to buy something reliable and it ran strong for him the whole time, put on about 4K miles in 4-5 months that he had it.

  4. -Depends on what type of wrap job you are wanting primarily. Some places specialize in doing commercial vehicles, some places specialize in custom jobs, some places do it all.

I've used Lizard Skins locally ( 614 299-9727 ) a couple times before and been happy with their work. Fair prices and quality work. They wrapped tailgate of my truck with my company logo and info...a bubble popped up in it a few weeks later and next job they did for me, I pointed it out and they just rewrapped the whole tailgate again at no cost to fix it.

  5. This is literally what I'll hopefully be doing. My 7 year old son has really been into cars lately, since I got my Cobra back on the road. I hope to be out at QSL with him in the Cobra and then cruise around to see what else is going on...

Feel free to come join us if want a good spot ( safe ) to watch from with the boy. I'm going to drop the truck off late afternoon at the Wendy's parking lot, close to the Wendy's big sign and then come back that evening as I only live a few miles from there.

So the kids can stay up in the back of the truck and have a good place to watch from away from the crowd and street. Just look for the big lifted blue F-150 with blue rims, wont be hard to spot even in that crowd. Prob be there around 6-7 until whenever. Cell is 614 620-5050.

I'm sure my 6 year old boy Miles would love to have another kid to watch it with for a while... just an option if you want. :-)

  6. Taking the kids to see Incredibles 2 tonight seemed like a fitting end to Fathers day today...my 3 year old first time in a theater...we see how it goes!

Kudos to all the dads out there, both by blood or by choosing to stick around even not yours by blood.

  7. Huh. That's different...not sure how I feel about it but never even occurred to me that something like that was available.

Doubt I would do something like that though as I have zero problems with my 43 and a small pocket holster. Small enough to just drop into pants pocket and go no problem, even with dress slacks on.

  8. Cam phasers and timing chains and spark plugs breaking off into the heads

    / thread

Nailed it. And get a custom SCT tune written for the cam phaser delete kit if you go that route. Plus makes it better to drive.
