  2. I have a 425 motor out of a 66 Toronado that I bought earlier this year I am thinking about using some of the parts to build a 468 I believe.
  3. Very true, What I consider special motors are the 455 hemi and the experimental engines Olds was messing with back in the day. Lots of cool stuff.
  4. The one on my car now is flowing 800CFM it came off of 403ci Olds motor. I believe it was a trans am. I love it.
  5. I am new to the site and I was wondering if there happens to be any current Oldsmobile owners on here? I am guessing if there are probably just a couple. If not Olds owners how about G-body owners (Grand National, Monte Carlo, Regal,Cutlass) Just thought I would see who is all out there.
  6. For me personally I have had bad luck with Holley carbs, and no experience with Edelbrocks. I run a Rochester Quadrajet. Again depending on your build specs what you choose can very. Look into a Q-jet though very good carbs in my opinion.
  7. Sorry for the miss-type lol, Westerville. And no this is not my fathers Oldsmobile because My dad has his own Olds. (1988 Custom Cruiser Station wagon)
  8. Thanks, I have been looking for a 83 Hurst or a 80s 442 since I got my first Cutlass. I am not a big fan of the 84 Hurst because of the gray but if I found one right I would pick it up. I do agree with you that the 180hp rating did not do those cars justice.
  9. Hi to all, I'm Andrew and I have been meaning to join Columbus Racing for a while and just now got around to doing so. My dad got me into cars at a very young age and in the past 5 years mainly Oldsmobile. A lot of people ask me why Oldsmobile? Well I personally like to be unique and to most younger car people today Oldsmobile does not even register in their mind as having anything to do with performance. So thats why I choose Olds. This has not been my first Olds either. Before this I had a 1988 Cutlass supreme classic with a stock 72 350 and th350 3speed as well. So heres my ride. 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Car came with a blown up 307 5.0L V8 that was taken out the second day I had the car. From the day I tore the motor out of the car I started my build with a 1972 Oldsmobile 350. Motor is standard bore, 10:1 compression, comp cams dual energy cam, aluminum intake, 800CFM Q-Jet, Hedman headers, dual flowmaster exhaust with X-pipe. This is all backed up by a built TH350 3 speed with 2.56 gears in the rear. All work to this car has been done by me. The only thing I was unable to do was the machine work. Looking forward to meeting some new people that are into cars around Columbus. Heres a couple pics.
