Frontline vet strength does a great job. It last for a month and breaks the fleas life and reproduction cycle with 1 treatment most of the time. Capstar cost a bit more and you have to stay on it. A little info taken from wikipedia... Life cycle and habitat Fleas are holometabolous insects, going through the four life cycle stages of egg, larva, pupa, and imago (adult). The flea life cycle begins when the female lays after feeding. Adult fleas must feed on blood before they can become capable of reproduction.[5] Eggs are laid in batches of up to 20 or so, usually on the host itself, which means that the eggs can easily roll onto the ground. Because of this, areas where the host rests and sleeps become one of the primary habitats of eggs and developing fleas. A typical flea population consists of 50% eggs, 35% larvae, 10% pupae and 5% adults. Normally after a blood meal, the female flea lays about 45 to 50 eggs per day up to 600 in a lifetime usually on the host (dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, mice, squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, opossums, foxes, chickens, humans, etc.). Eggs loosely laid in the hair coat, drop out most anywhere especially where the host rests, sleeps or nests (rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, cat or dog boxes, kennels, sand boxes, etc.).

The only track I have taken my car to was Pacemakers 11 years ago and after many fuzzy nights/years I could'nt tell you what I ran there. I have never ran the 1/4 mile in it at a track. The best I had to gauge my time was some lighter plug in that told me 0-60 and 1/4 mile times/mph. Only ran it on my car a few times before returning it to Jegs. I do remember my best time with it was 13.6 and that was before the 4.10 gear. I am not trying to claim it was accurate but its all I have to go on until I feel I am ready to venture out to the track again. The cam is on the more aggressive side, if I do go with it I hope everything else holds up.

This will be the first time I have had work like this done on my car and I would like a fast car (breaking 11's would be nice). I'm not trying to push the limits of what the motor can handle either. Something to entertain myself with while building a stroker on the side. The stroker project may take a few years to complete. The only specs I have on the LE2 heads/cam combo is the cam is 232/240. I would'nt really call this car a DD either since I rarely drive it any more.

This is the same thing I was told when I first started talking about doing something to my car a few weeks ago. Good to see someone else agrees with that info.

From all the research I have done on the LT4 top end kit most the reviews and results were'nt good. I did send Lloyd an email about the LE2 combo too and this was the response... as long as the car is a 6 speed car, that head/cam set up will work great. That cam will keep pulling to 6600 RPM or so with my ported heads. No problem with a built 355 but when installing it in a stock bottom end, you will want to shift around 6300 RPM to keep from spinning rod bearings. It will still work on the stock bottom end but when you get the built 355 with with good parts that can handle 6500-6800 RPM, you will get to feel the real power of this cam. It looks like no matter how I want to do this its going to take more money to get it done right. I was hoping to do it in stages but that might be asking for trouble. A blower does sound like alot of fun but probably not realistic on my budget.

It is a 6 speed that has a 4.10 gear, the rest of it is stock besides the minor bolt ons. I will most likely keep this car all motor without a super charger or turbo too.

The LS1 is the better engine for sure, the issue is I have owned this car for 14 years and Im lucky to put 2k miles a year on it. I plan on owning this car till I die (yeah, i got problems), I just want to do it right and I do have a sick obsession with building it up. I do like the idea of buying a LT1 and doing a stroker. This will be something I do after the mods for sure. Looking into the AFR 195's too, I have checked out the LT4 intakes and it only cost about 200 more so I might go with this. Gotta do some research on it first though. I don't plan on pushing the limits with what the engine can handle, hell, I rarely take the thing over 80 mph and dont get close to the rev limiter. I cant help myself sometimes if another car pulls up next to me and wants to see what I got.

I'm looking for reliability as well, just spraying it scares me.

I forgot to include longtube pacesetters to that list. It already has a cat back exhaust, most the minor bolt-ons and a 4.10 gear.

What would you suggest for an 95 LT1 camaro? Right now I'm wanting to do LE2 heads, with the 232/240 cam, porting the intake manifold for a 58mm TB, TB and clutch. I'm not looking to be the fastest car out there and I dont have the cash for it. This engine has been good to me so I want to put some life back in it.

Ha, I take it nobody plays any more and yes, people can hold a job while doing so. I do get laid off in the winter most years so it helps my geek status. Cataclysm may be the death of WoW, not like that was far away though. Thats probably the reason why I have so many characters, game got old and made more alts. I am way late on my post to start quoting anyone, alot of good stuff in here. Just wanted to say, I did misunderstand question 2a, forgive my ignorance. Doing more research now thanks to the other good post on this subject... I get sucked into this debate every time.

1:Jesus was the first "superstar" of his time, sure people would like to think he was "godlike". It happens with celebrities to this day... People worship them for no reason other than being gifted at whatever it is they do. If you could turn water into Jack Daniels I might think you're the next Jesus or one hell of a magician. 2: Another question that even the smartest people on earth can't figure out. I just gave my crackpot theory that is like alot of others but to say where matter came from... impossible! Some questions in life will never be answered. 2a: You are limited to what you are exposed to. It does'nt matter what design was given. 3: Wars have changed, its not so much about religion as it is about $$$ or our "best interest". There are so many wars we will never know about that was caused by "false gods" before anyone started caring about what happened in the past. Enough has been documented to give you a good idea what past history was like... ww2 claimed enough innocent lives to make up for many wars/battles/fights/arguments. 1: Nope, If god exist I want to know the man who created him and the person who created that guy and where they came from. Seriously, did he just appear out of thin air and claim himself to be god? 1a: The existence of god or jesus can never be proven or disproven. 2: Well, what caused the big bang was dust clumping together in 0 gravity, just like grains of salt in the same conditions. Once it gains so much mass something has to happen... the pressure could turn it into a star/sun (we all know they dont live forever) creating a blackhole or explosion. If this goes out on me again is it really worth keeping up on? This was the first time in the 16 years of its life. I have a 95 camaro Z28 and I have read this is a common problem. Most say to disconnect the wires and check it myself, more opinions never hurt though.

Hi everyone!, I like long walks on the beach, camp fires, the outdoors, cars... Am I doing this right?... Anyways, my name is Mike, I live in Grove City and I have owned my 95 Camaro Z28 for 14 years. I havent done any major work to it yet, just some minor bolt-ons with a gutted cat, cat back exhaust and 4.10 gear. About to get some top end work done soon (with long tube headers) and try not to be the slow one. I have been to 2 meets with some of you and look forward to attending more.
