  1. just to clarify, the husky I had came from petland. I thought that's why he was so hard to house break, after reading this thread, that may not have been the case. I've had other dogs that I've had no problem house braking, we just couldn't get this one though. we used to put him in a cage at night and he would be out of it in the morning. we could walk him on a leash, he didn't have the best leash manners, but he was manageable. I think the thing that got me is that one day my dog decided to pee on my wifes friends leg. we ended up getting rid of him though because we lived in an apartment at the time, we didn't have the room for him to run. if not for that, we would have kept him.
  2. i agree with 1badeagle. i had a pure bred siberian husky, dumbest dog i ever had. i couldnt get him house broken and he always ran away. when i was a kid, my dad had a german shepard/husky mix. that was one of the greatest dogs i have ever been around.
  3. I thought junk yards were allowd to sell parts, just not from the drivetrain.

    CR Golfers

idk what bag i have, i have some old wilson clubs though. i prefer top flite balls, but not really picky. i dont play much, i usually just played charity events (muscular distrophy event a bar used to hold years ago), also i played a 9 hole course in a place called hide away hills in lancaster. i havent played in years, but would like to get back into it for fun. fwiw, my scores are nothing worth mentioning, im a terrible golfer lol.
  5. I will hold any further comments until more info comes to light. I will wish wiggs good luck in his ventures though.
  6. just read back on this page a little, according to post 1058 and 1063, it sounds like he never authorized ips to do the work. this is just a guess, but seems possible by his wording. im wondering how though ips was working on the car and had it in their posession if wiggs did not authorize it.
  7. i wonder if wiggs realizes that if his car was ever on ips property (let alone being worked on, parts being sent out for machining ect...) then at the very least they can charge him storage fees. at the very least wiggs could be sued for the bill. and if the car was taken on behalf of wiggs (if it ends up in his possesion later) then wiggs is just as guilty as the party that moved the car without permission.
  8. brb, going to ips. they are wrenching on cars for free now.
  9. is it because d.wiggs beat it already?? seriously though, in for the build of the next car.
  10. so if it wasn't ips working on your car, who was it? also rumor has it that you were trying to edge your way into trying to help ips run they're shop, claiming you were part of the company or something. like I said, its just a rumor, however it could explain your recent dis-satisfaction with them.
  11. guy pays shop to build high end car. guy opens shop to build high end cars, then decides to finish his himself. why didn't guy build the car himself the first time if he has the time, money and knowledge to do so?
  12. so I was reading this http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/article3646.html and I have a couple questions. I know it was written a few years ago and gun laws may have changed since then. my question is, how do you properly carry a gun in the car say to a range or something. it seems there are a few stipulations to carrying a hand gun in a car without a ccw. I know you can walk down the street with a gun belt and no permit (provided the gun is unloaded last I heard) but can you do the same in a car, or is that considered concealed. I'm just trying to learn about gun laws because I've been thinking about getting a handgun for home protection and possibly going to the range now and then. I would rather know the laws than go to jail for something stupid if I did get another gun (my other gun is a .22 rifle).
  13. if delaware isnt terribly far, you could try the advance auto parts warehouse. idk if they are hiring right now, but i can find out. i believe they were a couple months ago.
  14. Fixed. :gabe: cool mustang though, it really does look something like the mad max car.
  15. is there money involved?? and im talking a significant ammount. if its just for kicks or for like 20 bucks or something then the guy has issues if he is mad. if theres 1k or more involved then it would seem a serious race. i still wouldnt be mad if i lost though, because if i bet 1k on a race and lost, then i put the money up, i would have nobody to be mad at buy myself. just my opinion.
  16. didnt know that, good to know though.
  17. ^ this. ohio is a mommy state. good luck though. on a seperate thought thought though, how long were you with her? if the house is in only your name I believe she would have had to be with you 7 years to have any rights to your property if you weren't married iirc. common law I believe its called.
  18. my apologies. I tend to stay out of the gun section as I know nothing about them. just saw a wtb ad and my gun fit the bill. i just want to make sure things are done the proper way if I get rid of it.
  19. I'm thinking of the registration of the gun, or however the serial numbee is linked to the owner. I'm not good with gun laws and such. I bought the gun when I was 18 just cause I could. I've shot it a few times, probably less than 100 rounds through the gun ever. I just never knew the laws for gun registration and was worried about selling a gun that is in my name without knowing how to.
  20. I have one I don't use ever, model 597 remmington iirc. needs cleaned but.if your willing to do the transfer paperwork just make me an offer.
  21. sounds like he went out doing something he enjoyed (assuming as it sounds like he was a long time racer). sorry to hear though.
