I should be out at sonic sometime tonight. A buddy has a couple bikes and I'm trying to convince him to get em out tonight, so don't make fun of me for push starting a bike when leaving, it's not my bike lmao.

I grew up in a house with a metal roof, lived there for 20 years and never had to do any maintenance to it. Also rain is nice when its time to go to bed.

Shit, I forgot all about this lol. A buzz box is a 110v mig welder (at least thats how I refer to them). I will talk to him on Friday, if I remember I will ask him to use it this weekend.

Maybe Red Bull just is just looking at it as a marketing tactic.

Have you thought about a different turbo setup? If you do a compound turbo setup it could help you spool a little lower for better low end response.

So, I was just reading back through some of this thread out of boredom, when are Wiggs and Jamie going to race now that Wiggs' car is running?

I was just sharing some reading I did on my old bike. My old bike when I got it ran like complete shit (and had no filter of any kind on it), and I ended up putting pod filters on it and retained the stock exhaust. I did jet up one size based on the reading I had done and after doing a few things (mainly rebuilding the carbs) the bike ran like a top. I am glad to see that there is someone with more knowledge than myself on the subject that was able to correct me, I was just concerned about him damaging the bike due to lack of fuel.

Do you know anything about the running condition of the bike? I see it has no filters and a straight piped exhaust. The reason I ask is because (at least on my old kz750) for each mod to help the motor flow (ie exhaust and filters) you should go up one jet size, otherwise it could run too lean. Looks like a cool project though.

Wiggs must have built it, seeing as to how ugr doesn't know how to build a car and all... Seriously though, thats impressive.

Whatever controls the spark timing (ie cas) could possibly be bad. Couldn't hurt to test it (if possible).
