  1. I was referring more to the 1300-1500hp cars. I am just curious of wiggs' claim of most powerful pomp gas car is accurate.
  2. Goddamnit, now I am hungry. Thanks. For my troubles though not completely relevant, I am going to leave this here... http://www.humoar.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/he-just-look-like-some-bbq-ribs.jpg
  3. REW is the FD motor. There are plenty of swap kits out there to do it. If you can change a motor, I would say you could do the swap. The hard part may be the wiring. AFAIK the apex seals on the Renisis motor are shallower therefore weaker and have more issues. Plus as I said before, the REW (if you get the entire dropout) comes with turbos (or a turbo if someone has done some work to the motor). There are others on here who could give you way more insight than I can, I have pretty limited knowledge on the rotary (I know enough to get around one), as I am a swapper myself.
  4. Welcome, if you want to stay with a rotary, I would look at REW swapping it. The seals are a little bigger than the Renesis seals (plus turbos...). Otherwise, nice looking ride.
  5. How does the exhaust look and smell? My moms 05 grand prix had the plastic manifold crack and was leaking coolant internally (I realize yours could be metal, I'm just throwing it out there).
  6. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1743 Here is a thread that shows you how to post pictures. Really you just need to link them from a host site like photobucket or something similar. Example: Put%20link%20here
  7. You need a 99 spec bumper in your life, otherwise the car is about perfect to me.
  8. I would probably find Mitsubishi's 4g63 (or 64) on that list somewhere. I find it impressive that they can be built to be over 1k hp in a little 4 banger, and it takes to the boosts in a simmilar fashion as the jz motors. Before you claim reliability problems, that's not as much the engine as Mitsu deciding to use glass synchros in the manual gearboxes (besides Waggs has the rotary listed up there :gabe:). Otherwise I would have a similar list as above minus the rotary for me. While they can be great performance engines (look at what Puerto Rico does with em), the bang for the buck just isn't there like it is for the rest of them.
  9. Not necessarily. I think the name of the condition I am thinking of is colitis (something like that, I will change this post later if that is wrong). Edit: I was kind of right, ulcerative colitis and the other I was thinking of was chron's disease.
  10. Coming soon: People with stomach issues that cause gas need to buy pollution credits...
  11. 6'1" about 265. What's your point? I would have said it if I were 100lbs lighter too.
  12. Lube your e-brake system well. It usually just takes backing up a little to brake it free, but if you leave it alone it could start to get worse.
  13. Are people really that shallow that they do not want to even see an obese person?
  14. I know nothing about the I6 jags, but I know enough to stay away from the V12 cars. I knew a guy that had a 86 XJS V12, beautiful car, but extremely sensitive (the fuel pump was out of adjustment on his, there was a set screw in the trunk of the car that adjusted fuel pressure or something like that). He ended up getting rid of the car after a few months because he was tired of working on it.
  15. Has there been an autopsy report released (publically)? It would be interesting to see if he may have been on something (referring to something mind altering such as lsd, shrooms, ect.) being as his friend described him as unusually bold that day.
  16. So it is a fact that he would not allow the officer to exit the car and started a confrontation with him there? If so, he kind of set the tone for the entire incident (imo). I can see where officer Wilson could see him as a threat from that point on. Weather or not he handled things properly from that point on is unclear because only 2 people know exactly what happened, and one of them is not able to talk about it now. Just to be clear, all of this is my opinion, and I don't think he was too bright to be fucking with a police officer like that in the first place.
  17. ^ #3, totally agree. Why are people so ignorant? I guess the saying "common sense isn't so common anymore" rings very true these days. It is rather unfortunate actually. The way I see it, Darwin won this time, it needs to happen more often.
  18. I was thinking more along the lines of a larger more devoloped version in a car, though I am sure the technology would be applied to (likely unpopular) lawn mowers. Just like the rotary motors we have known for years.
  19. So instead of petitioning to have the case tried again in a higher court they riot for "justice"... I guess taking it to a higher court wouldn't get them a bunch of free stuff.
  20. I saw this on facebook and thought it was kind of nifty. http://www.enginelabs.com/news/liquidpiston-unveils-very-small-5-horsepower-70cc-rotary-engine/ The engine resembles a rotary motor in a lot of ways. The most impressive part to me though is the fact the engine is a little larger than an Iphone and puts out 3.5hp (though they think they can squeeze 5hp out of it with more rpm).
  21. You're doing it wrong. Look at Sam and JP. Hell, I am 4g swapping my RX-7 and will be in it for way less than 5k.
