  1. 6.39 or quicker requires a comp license for 1/8mi. I think there is a mph limit too
  2. mirrored ... youtube search "camaro abused by mechanics"
  3. CLIFF NOTES 1. dealer SM and tech abused a 2010 camaro by doing burnouts and hard launches. 2. burned up the clutch, then talked about how to double dip to make the customer and GM warranty pay them twice for the job by splitting the work order into multiple parts 3. customer recorded all this with a audio recording device in the door pocket of the car 4. customer approaches dealership with recording and is told to fuck off, customer calls GM and is told not their problem between customer and dealership. 5. customer posts it on youtube and a couple of forums.. 6. internet blows up and every car and starving for real news site picks up the story 7. dealership asks customer to pull the video down so they can talk out a deal 8. customer pulls it down for about 2 hours during which time the dealership slaps customer with some legal paperwork and a lawsuit 9. customer puts it back up, and it blows up further and GM gets semi-involved, more news sites pick it up and the dealership owner goes fishing.. 10. dealership finally makes a deal to buy the car back from the owner at KBB+10% This from the dealership today : EASLEY, S.C. – Best Chevrolet has purchased a debated 2010 Chevrolet Camaro today and will auction of the vehicle for the March of Dimes in the coming weeks. The vehicle in question has been the focus of a recent viral video created by a local man. The person who brought the car to the dealership secretly recorded discussions between two employees and later released a portion of the audio on the internet. Today, Best Chevrolet is releasing the entire 30 minutes of the audio to give the full version of the situation. At the end of the tape, he drives the vehicle in a similar manner to the one that he complains about. He drives the car just as hard. A car of that style needs to be driven hard to test for the problem he stated. It is a high performance car and is not likely to be damaged in such a way. In his own words, his vehicle already had been damaged at another location. The vehicle in question was not originally purchased at the dealership nor ever worked on at Best Chevrolet. The vehicle was brought in for a diagnostic in September, but no work was ever recommend or performed. Best Chevrolet takes all customer complaints seriously. The dealership prides itself on reputation and service. They are pleased to say we have reached a deal that ultimately will serve local charities

  5. Those boots are warm and waterproof but do not let moisture in or out so theres no place for sweat to go. If you use them take extra pairs of dry socks. My dad's Marine unit borrowed some of these from the Army during the Korean War. He was a Navy Corpsman ( USMC gets their medics from the Navy) and he told me treated trenchfoot and foot funk cases when no dry socks were around and you wore them for a long time .
  6. Those HRE's retailed at around $6,500.00 new . They are normally available with polished lips and/or outers but these are fully polished on the inners too. All four TPMS were purchased in June 2012 and have never been turned on. Glad you're enjoying the car Ben, GLWS
  7. Doc - Thanks for the hospitality. It was a great way to spend a morning and a real pleasure to meet Steve. No work done on the Camaro ... hooked after 3 pages.

  9. http://www.communitymediation.com/ Located here in Columbus and they offer a free consulation. They can walk you through all the decisions you will have to make to satisfy the judge. For a very small fee they can put your agreement into language that an attorney can easily present for a divorce. My ex and I used their services and it saved a bunch of money in legal fees.
  10. 1953 Oyster Precision. Keeps great time as long as I remember to wind it. http://i604.photobucket.com/albums/tt122/blazer427X3/032.jpg
  11. You're right, I'll need to have it turned on with a Tech II. I wasn't able to get to the tire learning screen.
  12. I still have a couple Holley books I got from Jegs years ago. One is Super Tuning and Modifying Holley Carbs and the other is a 4150/4160 tuning/repair/mod book. I'll probably be at the next C&C, if those might help let me know and I can bring them.
  13. You're taking some great shots with that camera Rocky !

  15. I've had good luck with a product called Amdro. We use it to kill fire ants back home. The ants pick up the granules and take them to the nest thinking its food. Kills the queen and the colony.
  16. USAIR is the airline I avoid. They are very strict on luggage weights and try hard to collect that extra money at the ticket counter. Their fees to change a reserved flight are beyond stupid. Another good thing about SWA ... no fee if you have a reservation and need to change your flight.
  17. I've never had a bad experience with the many Southwest flights I've taken. They do a pretty good job of staying on schedule too. Before booking a ticket with carriers who have reserved seating ( SWA seats by groups but no assigned seat # ) I usually go to seatguru to pick out the best seat still available on the plane. You can use it for a Southwest flight to learn where the prime spots are on 737's and know which seat to grab as you board. http://www.seatguru.com/
  18. Tuffy Auto on E. Main will do what you need, no problem ... ask for Rob.
  19. Thanks again ! I wonder if my son will notice the sub missing from his trunk ... thats the strongest magnet I know of around the house
  20. Thanks ! I've never seen the sensors but they are located near or are a part of the valve stem correct ?
