  6. This company will ship fresh seafood to your home http://www.avseafoodsupplier.com/index.php?route=common/home
  7. Sorry this happened to you and of all days ... I have a couple computers (pc) that I dont use right now, one laptop and a desktop. If you need to borrow either one or both until you get replacements for your stuff you are more than welcome to them.
  8. I was a 19E/K-10 (armor crewman), did OSUT at Ft. Knox, then went to 1st Cav Ft. Hood and finished up with the 3/163rd ACAV (TXARNG). Just as you are doing, I went in as an E3 ... had no interest in OCS, got out as an E7. In exchange for 6 years (4 active, 2 NG) the Army paid off all my college student loans, gave me some cash and if I ever decide to go back to college, that would be paid for also. There were many different enlistment programs with various incentives. Don't hesitate to ask about all of them. Take your time picking an MOS based on your test scores. If you can choose one which crosses over into civilian life thats a good idea too ... even though I didn't, I don't regret my choice. Also : When you have to sign a receipt for any equipment issue make sure and draw a line at your signature and write " nothing follows ". Supply guys are notoriously sneaky, try to make friends with them in your unit if you can ... verify every item you sign for. Buy a decent but not too expensive pair of running shoes and break them in a little bit before you leave for basic training. Motorpool NCO's take it personally when you break stuff, doesnt matter if its your fault or not. Good Luck !
  9. Too bad you couldn't send the water his way when you were working on your drainage project out there.
  10. Newark turns into a ghost town when you guys go racing ! LOL Good luck today Josh, I'm looking forward to hearing what it puts down. I thought about going but got a late start on the day (zzzzzzz). Blaise
  11. Drunk driver in Miami wiped out one dealers inventory of Grand Sports last month ... " Although details are sketchy, we spoke with a representative of the dealership who told us that on Wednesday, December 14 at around 3 am, a drunk driver lost control of his car and crashed into several new Corvette Grand Sports that were on display along the roadside. The driver wasn’t seriously injured in the accident . Don't let the oil consumption issue scare you away from the right 01 at a good price. The guys who have the problem report it being about a quart between oil changes. If we didnt have snow/ice/salt my Z would be a driver. They dont melt in the rain and active handling + traction control help a lot on slippery roads. Ground clearance is another issue with chunks of ice and snow in the middle of the lanes, even at stock ride height the front air dam is only a few inches from the road. There are also some issues with 02's dropping valves from broken springs, mine did it to the previous owner when it was under warranty. Get the VIN of any vette youre thinking about, take that number to a dealer and ask them to run the service and warranty history. Its free and it will tell you all sorts of stuff like where it was purchased new and all the work done on the car at GM dealers. If you see a report that has tons of electrical issues run away as fast as you can.
  14. I agree. Its been done a lot and there are kits available for wiring and mounts, lots of write ups for the swap on vette related forums too. Half-shaft upgrade and a stronger rear end cover if you put more than 400 to the wheels with sticky tires. Good luck with the build !
  15. Thanks for the replies ! Hey Ben, good to see you. One more speed bump too fast and I bet I can peel these crusty LT's off without picking up a wrench. Big time saver.
  16. Hello All. I'm Blaise, here are a couple pictures of my 02 Z06. Its got the original LS6 in it with aftermarket heads, cam, intake, exhaust and a few hardened parts in the trans. I had a lot of help getting the engine back together from a couple CR members after an overrev/lifter failure/lobe wipe a while back (Joe, Bryan thanks again). I'd like to autocross it this year and get a few passes without blowing it up. http://i604.photobucket.com/albums/tt122/blazer427X3/BTHkUVw2kKGrHgoH-C0EjlLltdzBKGv1hrG.jpg http://i604.photobucket.com/albums/tt122/blazer427X3/BTHkeZwBmkKGrHgoH-DkEjlLly2R-BKGv2E.jpg
