  1. Sensed lotsa hate, amirite ?
  2. I have to concur. E30 M3 = gods' chariots. /thread
  3. A base C5 was in low $40k's. Loaded Z06 and 'verts were pushing $50k and maybe slightly over.
  4. Thank you for posting that. I started OSU Winter of 1991 and I believe High Street was pretty much the same. I noticed that BW3 was at south campus. As far as I can remember, BW3 was a few blocks up north; the location before the current on the corner of Lane and High.
  5. Gotta love GM "ingenuity" ... Check if the passenger-side operation is not affected. A uniform problem usually points toward a weak battery in the fob. If that's not the case, the contacts inside the pad are likely dirty. That part is inexpensive and easy to R&R. If you are handy, you can disassemble it and clean the contacts. Watch out for the hatch button, it usually fails sooner due to turbulence of dust-moisture-yuckies.
  6. My 4-post is also free-standing; so far never anchored. It does move a little when I got a bit rough with throttle application (read: spinning a tire when it's wet). Mine has a brand of "Direct Lift" and it's quite a bit cheaper than a Bendpak. I bought it two years ago and so far there is not a problem. I'm about to add another since my stable is slowly growing. The MaxJack does not interest me since my problem is storage; a 2-post is better suited for working on a vehicle. Regardless, I like the idea of its portability; I'm sure there is a way to alleviate the problem of anchor failure due to cyclic loading.
  7. You can always get extended-tip lug nuts to regain the threads lost when using a spacer. The tip on these lug nuts protrudes about 3/8" or 10mm.
  8. I'd have to say that he is probably not that bad. He was just the unlucky one to get caught. In the great scheme of things, this guy's record is likely still below average.
  9. Brent - is this what you do for a living ? I also need the tracks raised so the door will retract much closer to the ceiling.
  10. The pathetic part of my garage is that the lift will be about 4-5 inches. A friend of mine who flips houses suggested Miller Door Sales. Listmaster jackshaft is shown in their website. I have not contacted them, maybe one of these days.
  11. I'm looking at the Liftmaster jackshaft since I need to bring the door closer to the ceiling so the door can clear the Z06 on the lift. One of these days I will have to pull the trigger. Does anyone have a jackshaft door opener ? If so, how do you like it ?
  12. Kyle - only if you run on four compact spares ...

    106.7

That radio station belongs to my "secondary group" which means it's in the memory if there is space after all the "primary group" are in place. Unfortunately, that means only the Solstice head unit has 106.7 since it got 30 spots; as opposed to the usual 12 or 18. Like Cordell, I can't care any less about the giveaways. The lines are understandably always busy because the giveaways are likely on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  14. We're going to Cameron's American Bistro. Food and service are beyond excellent with an ambiance worth three thumbs up; so far I know only 2-3 restaurants in Columbus with such a stellar combination. PS: one maîtresse de has mono digit
  15. Maybe it's time to reinstate my subscription to C&D again.
  16. Don't worry about me Most of my posts are to be taken lightheartedly; I maybe a newb here but I'm no stranger to internet forums.
