thats an understatement. 3 burnouts later and chirping 3rd and 4th my weekend is complete. new tune coming tomorrow to fix speedo. broke abs sensors unfortunatly though. those bastards were stuck. i soaked them for a good two days before the install today. they werent having it. so looks like i get to buy new sensors.

installing the 4.10's this weekend. decided to go ahead and get a jump start this evening. damn abs sensors do not want to budge at all. any tips? how much clearance will you get with leaving abs in there and pushing axles in?

i sent a private message to him non the less. i just dont trust ebay for what im wanting. im looking to get a 1 color no design windshield vinyl. similar to that of what they call the " pimp strip " in tinting, but im wanting a solid gloss black.

Im not in any real big hurry but would like to have something within the week. Need a piece of precut vinyl for the windshield. Didnt know if any members might have the equipment or know of someone reputable that could give me their number. the guy i knew done hasnt returned my calls so his number might not work anymore. would rather give someone local my money vs ebay.

had mine for about a month. i can foresee getting a ballistic case for it, but havent had any problems with mine.

kind of figured i would be SOL. lol. well on that note then, can you spray some form of rust coating on the top of the fuel pump without screwing it up?

i had checked the filler neck because i had read that was an issue as well. i have no check engine light that would indicate the evap system although it had crossed my mind. from everything im reading its the actual top of the fuel sending unit that corrodes. only solution is to buy a new fuel pump. a pricey one at that. i bought this car used so i dont know if it would fall under that tsb bulletin or not. i will not pay a dealership to do the repair when im perfectly capable of doing it myself unless it is covered for free.

just picked up a 2002 chevy trailblazer I6 4x4 as an everyday driver to keep the miles of the GT. been doing alot of research and looking for some advice here. gas fume smell outside of vehicle. researching it ive come up with the actual fuel pump sending unit top will rust out and allow vapors to exit. im assuming im going to have to buy a new sending unit ( 299-330 bucks ). advice part one. any cheaper route? lets say i replace this whole unit, what preventative measures can i take that will not affect the top of the unit to prevent it from rusting in the future? will undercoating be ok to use? or some form of a rust preventative?

i had a thread title change. update. when i made this thread i was going to be looking at a 02 GT. at the last minute the boy backed at. I guess all things happen for a reason because i eventually found a very clean 04 GT. ive had it now for about 2 weeks. There are no check engine lights on this car, stock gears. has a couple mods done to it, such as JLT cai, and trick flo upper plenum, and full exhaust.

updated: wheels have been sold.

i also have a tatrix cable too that i just found.
