Haha, thanks for the warm welcome. Thank you for the rep, and yes the 7bolt head was a BIG debate for a while. But it was a deal from a friend i could not pass up. It has revised lifters and VERY CLEAN.

Hi everyone, name is David. I was informed of CR by a friend that is already a member here, and I decided to join after hearing of the good reputation and knowledge. I'm fairly new to DSM's. I have a general understanding of everything but am still getting down to the nitty gritty of it all. I recently purchased my first collection of DSM parts for a full build up. Car is a 1990 Black Cherry Metallic Eagle Talon Tsi. There were a few things that surprised me once I got the car home and off the trailer. But I'll see what I can do. As for the motor, it is a Burschar built block with a BS Delete. I will be doing a full rebuild in the near future as the motor had spun bearings. Crank is toast(it was even knife edged ) so ill more than likely run an OEM crankshaft. Ill be mating the 6 bolt block with the 7 bolt head pictured. Along with a Master Power Super 60 turbo.
