WTB: Long shot but need a Motorcycle Lift
On3Performance replied to On3Performance's topic in LBTS GLWS
I picked up a complete lift so Im good if anyone else needs the one listed above -
Building a TT 69 Camaro and found a higher mile truck we are parting out for the engine/trans. I have the trans covered but who can we use locally on the engine? Lower Hp, maybe 600rwhp so its not an all out race engine build. Looking for a reasonable shop for a quick overhaul. Anyone have parts around we might use? Let me know Thanks

About to hit up the freight but wanted to check here and see if anyone might have something they want to get rid of. Im going to have a 6 pack before I finish working on this bike I have here and need something so Im not working upside down

Just another RX-7 Built-Coltboostin Style
On3Performance replied to coltboostin's topic in Passing Lane
Looks like its running well -
I count 8 grinds Grant... Im only kidding but are you doing twins with v-banded housings? I thought you were just talking about doing a single?

I ended up with the CTX system, haven't installed it yet but just showed up today. Hopefully I can figure it out....
-
Im installing a Swann 1080p system right now, Ill follow up after Im finished. I went with a PoE system so your not having to power the cameras with another source. Overall everything looks nice and Ive been researching it a decent amount over the past few weeks.

Needing a cheap Window's based laptop that will be rarely used. Hoping to avoid the craigslist ad's so let me know if anyone has one needing a new home.
-
I have one, rode it maybe a few 100 miles last year. Extremely fun bikes to mess around with
-
I have looked at the xblue reviews and 50% or more report that the voice quality is terrible. That makes it miserable to take an order and hear a customer over other noise in the shop. So I wanted to go with something a little more professional grade I guess

Anyone ever pulled over with Historical Tags?
On3Performance replied to coltboostin's topic in Passing Lane
My dad has maybe 12 cars I would guess with historical tags and you get pulled over in Westerville for farting too loud. I dont drive them a lot but my family does put miles on all of them throughout the warmer months. Ive never had anyone harass us, get pulled over or questioned about use. One of the guys that works for my dad has an older benz with historical tags, daily driven and never had any issues. I would get them if I could -
I have a Toshiba CTX phone system for our new shop and dont have the time to take the project on. I want to pay someone possibly to install, setup, and get us up and running. Anyone do that type of work or recommend me to someone? They said its not the end of the world to figure it out and get it running, I just really have other things I need to worry about. If you have experience with these systems, how involved is it to get the system operational/setup? We only have 2 lines currently installed and will just need a few different departments setup in it to direct someone to sales assistance or to technical help. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Dan / Ramsey: What kind of prices from each of those places on average? Ill have to look a little more into each of these listed. I know my dad just wants a clean look and doesn't want a rats nest of wiring, it will drive him crazy. I want to make it as clean as possible, we are on a budget but fine with paying a little more if one is nicer than the other. Looking at running a 4l80 with it and computer controlled so he can just floor it and go. Mainly going to be a street driven car
-
I dont do well with wiring so I was hoping to find something fairly simple. If it comes to me having to cut through a harness and make it all custom, Ill be bringing someone in for that job
-
I see a number of engine harnesses out there to use, what are guys using that works the best? We are doing a 69 Camaro, twin turbo and wanting a clean look. First time I have done a swap and Ive talked my dad into this after a lifetime of trying to do something not stock. He does all frame off, numbers matching, restorations so this is completely outside the box for him. Im handling the drivetrain side of this and the turbo build, anyone have insight on what direction to go to cover us on the electronics?
-
Completely random and sorry to side track but do you know where to find one for S&W Shield .40?
-
If its available, I can come by today and pick it up. Just was getting ready to hit up appliance mart for a full sized fridge to put at the new shop. Let me know, Ill shoot you my number if its still up for grabs
-
Thanks and Ill have to check a few of those out. DHD did some stuff for my parents but their pricing is out of this world high. The kits I have been looking at are PoE cameras so there is not a need for a power specific outlet near by. Any issues with that style camera or those that have installed systems, is this the style you have used as well?
-
Been looking into some of the indoor/outdoor 1080p HD camera systems and confused from all the reading. Anyone have recommendations on a particular system to use or ones to specifically stay away from? We are wiring up the new shop now and ready to start installing a system. There are some pretty nice systems that look well put together on ebay/amazon but I don't like to buy without actually seeing the products

Call Brady at Pick ups Plus Cars, they can do basically any work you need and follow it up with a tune. That will be the best bang for your buck -
2013 Mustang GT Premium Mod Path???
On3Performance replied to Robert Aaron Parsons's topic in Passing Lane
I could not agree more! With the correct setup, you can put a factory long block 5.0 into the 9's. Thats getting more serious on the mod list but we do have daily driven cars with bone stock long blocks all the way down into the 9.60's now(20k miles w/ turbos to this point and true daily driver). Really just depends how serious you want to get and what your looking for -

No tax stamp needed unless you are going to want to have a stock. $200 and form 1 it, worth every penny. PM'ed everyone back, one is sold and other is possibly pending. Im one of those guys that keeps something for sale till I have the funds in hand. If your serious, get with me.
