i just feed her purina's Chef Michael's sirloin, 1st ingredient listed is beef. has some big chunks in it and smells like hamburger...doesn't taste that bad either.

I would say take advantage of the friends and have them show you the basics. I think thats how everyone learns really. Start with friends at a range and work your way onto a course and put it all together. Itll be a slow process, but youll get ahold of it with time.

 

unless your friends are golf pros, you're going to pick up bad habits. i play recreationally and when i lived in akron i took a lesson at one of the local courses. i think it was $50 for an hour or something at the driving range...then it was $75 for a ride along lesson(instructor goes out with you to play 9 and teaches you on the course).

 

learned a few new things, saw a few things i was doing wrong. it's not a bad idea. might take another one soon, haven't been out on the course much last year...i can feel myself getting pretty rusty.

how many people do you need for a class? i have my friend(and possibly his wife) me(and possibly my fiancee), Supplicium and i may have another friend interested as well....

Does it make me an asshole if I don't care? Or that I think that kid is a piece of shit for doing it in front of everyone. If your fucking high school life is so terrible, just do it at home and get it over with...don't make others watch you do it. Fuck that kid.

Is that dr colorchip any good? I have a few pretty deep chips on my car that I'd like to try and fill in..

Ah yeah, I'm qualified on it the M9, but i'll have to see if it's on my DD214 has any weapons quals on there.

 

your DD214 will be acknowledged as a form of training cert and you will not be required to take the class, valid up to 6yrs from your discharge date(assuming it was an honorable discharge). after 6yrs, it no longer counts.

 

 

*that said, it is past 6yrs for me and i now need to take the class. MoJoe, how much is your class and when are you doing your next one?

i will be out of town for the april event, but will definitely attend in june.

i have a set of harness bars that i'd like to get painted orange to match my car. i'd like to get it done within the next couple weeks if possible(the sooner the better). this way, when the car comes out of storage, everything will be ready to go for the new interior.

 

it's 3 bars, 2 are approx 2ft long and about the circumference of the base of a typical pool cue. the 3rd is a little under 5ft long and about the same as the barrel of a baseball bat. they appear to already be powder coated from corbeau.

 

i spoke with a few shops and got some price estimates, but figured i'd see if anybody here does any side work. if you're interested or know somebody who is, i can get the paint code from ford.

Fuck Jared. I went out shopping for engagement rings, figured I'd stop in there since I was nearby. Sales lady was too aggressive, rings were overpriced and she repeatedly tried to get my information to run my credit after I told her not yet(I didn't want them to run my credit I wasn't going to buy there). Finally left, went to Andrew's Jewelers. 0% for 60 months and the salesman wasn't pushy...can't beat it.

1/3ct princess cut solitaire in 14k white gold. good color and clarity. friend decided not to propose, just wants me to sell it since he's not involved in any forums. asking $650 OBO. let me know if interested.
