I wouldn't know the rx8 wasn't very fun in a drag so I stayed away from it... the old 240sx I had was fun but never ran on a track, due to there not being one on the island... lol.

I was under the impression that the stock filter setup was good for like 350? I'm unsure if I wanna go the Cobb route or not as of now. Call me a puss if you want. First I want to get a good feel for the car. I've only had it about a month. It's very different than the old rx8.

I need to look up the drag days then. I'm game for take the longest amount time possible drags haha. Once I get used to launching this big clunker I think I could get 13s? I hope anyways. No, not to make it fun, but to make it quicker for decent drag times. I'm still new to this Evo thing but it's expensive to make fast. I'm not sure what 350ish awhp would net this car as far as e.t. goes.

It's fun. Buts it's slow out of the box, atleast in a straight. I haven't had a good opportunity to run it in some curves.

Hello everyone. I'm not really new here, I joined and introduced myself a few years and I never returned. Things happened and didn't have time for fun. That being said I would like to welcome myself back to the fun. When I joined I DD a copper red rx8 that was stock. I have since moved on to an Evo x gsr. I'd like to be able to do some auto x again (never did it here and it's been years) and maybe a track day or two. I'm just having trouble finding places/groups online thats not strictly scca competitions. Thanks and hello again.

no it sat under a tree in my yard for about 5 years after i got it. its just mold stuff it washes off.
