  1. I thought those here on CR would want to know since the rain out last Saturday. Due to the nice weather forcast D42 decided to be open for one last day for a test & tune. 10-5pm. Weather forecast shows mid 60's and sunshine. More info is on the D42 website. Thanks,
  2. I was looking for this DD cars first 10 sec time slip but the weather had its way with all of us. Here was my one pass from yesterday: 2.244 60' 5.561 330' 8.002 660' 101.93 660' MPH 11.733 1320' 132.43 1320' MPH
  3. Great to see the good CR turnout yesterday at D42, considering most of you drove 1-2 hours or more. Quite a few very nice cars and trucks. Seeing the white AWD TBSS spinning all 4 wheels at 200' out and going a bit sideways was a first for me. Like everyone I wish the rain would have held off another few hours. On my only run it was my first time ever pedaling a DD car up to half track. It did go 11.70 at 132 mph, so at least I can go the next 6 months of winter thinking I am ready with this car for when the tracks re open in the spring. Take care,
  4. The sun just came out this afternoon up here in N/E Ohio for the first time in the last 5 days. Hopefully the rain will hold off so things can dry out tomorrow. Looking forward to the drive to D42 on Saturday morning. Thanks,
  5. Looks like it may have spun a lot off the line. What tires are on it when it is raced and what does his best time slip look like? Also, 3.9 seconds and 31 mph out the back is really moving. What is the car and mods?
  6. Very nice car and runs. Can you post your incremental times and speeds. I am curious what your 60, 330, and 660 ETs are. Great work. I went a 6.86 @ 103 in the 1/8th at Dragway 42 about 2 weeks ago. I was then only able to make one 1/4 mile pass and went a 11.13 @ 132.5 (spinning a lot on the line, even with drag radials). Our cars are running close to the same ET and speed so I wanted to compare the incrementals to see how I stand. Thanks,
  7. Check out post #29. It has a you tube link that a friend made for us that shows the cars when we tested at Norwalk. I think the link may have some kind of setting that prevents it from being viewed on a mobil device, so check it out when your on your regular PC. The GS has a E-Force SC and some basic related bolt ons. Thanks,
  8. Thanks for the good words. I have always built and worked on my own cars, when ever time allowed. Providing no new issues come up with the GS I am planning to be at NTR on Sunday if the rain holds off, and at 42 on Sat Nov 3. It is my last chance to get in a good 1/4 pass on this new project before the tracks around here close for the winter. I look forward to meeting up sometime to check out your car and seeing it run. Thanks,
  9. I mostly race at Norwalk, Thompson, and Quaker City. Not sure how to post photos, but here is a video from my first time out this year after rebuilding the engine. It is mainly a lot of warm up video and first launch and first full pass. The first pass was with one of the small nitrous system with a lot of timing being pulled to make sure everything was hooked back up and working. I also have the engine for sale. If it sells I will likely switch to a turbo engine combination: http://www.racingjunk.com/Drag-Racing/2777424/765-quot-Brodix-5-quot-Nitrous-Engine.html Thanks,
  10. Wow, I spend the last 2 days wrenching on my new project car so I can drive it 2 hours to make a few passes at NTR before the snow flies, because my local tracks have closed for the winter, and I get turned into a bad guy. Truth is I am just a regular guy, a farmer from NE Ohio who engineers, builds, and races my own cars and engines, all in my own shop, all for fun when I can around my day job. Thanks,
  11. I wish it was making 660 WHp. I think it is de tuned so it can live OK for now. I didn't make it to the track today. Ended up working on it some more. Got it fixed and should be ready to for next weekend. Thanks,
  12. Cool, I will have to dig out some time slips from this summer. I normally just run 1/8 th mile heads up events. In this format my best is in the 4.20's at 173 mph. This summer at a test session with IPS and Jegs at Norwalk I ran it to 1000' then pulled the chutes, it still coasted across with a 6.88 at 180 mph. I will get the slips & videos and send in soon. Thanks,
  13. Most forums have one but I can't locate it on here. If there is one where is it located and what is needed to get on the list? Thanks,
  14. E-Force SC, methanol kit, SW Headers & Midpipe, small cam, valve springs, push rods, Z06 fuel pump, MSD boost a pump, and a tune up Thanks,
  15. I worked on my car all day today so I could plan to go to NTR tomorrow. Hope to get a 10 sec time slip before the snow flies. Thanks,
