Very sporty look, Are they quick?

My buddies Chevy 2500 is starting to get some rust under neath. Does anyone recommend a good rust proofing shop?

Definitely nabbing one of those 100mph decals. What is the index racing? Straight up runs for cars in each range?

What kind of cars am I looking for to recognize you guys? I should be easy to spot, as I doubt there'll be many black g8's there.

What kind of work are you looking for? I used to build houses for a living, and still do a lot of work in Bexley. Even if I don't have time for the work, I can gladly give you some advice. BTW, let me know if you need a painter/repair guy, I have the best in town working in my house now.

I didn't, had a complete water shutdown, and couldn't get away from work in time. This place seems to always ruin my plans. I'm going to pick up a helmet Fri, and maybe check out the track that night. I'm more interested in wed nights though. Anyone go on Fridays?

Thanks, I'm trying to get out there tonight, really depends on how my workday ends up. But I definitely want to start getting out there on a regular occasion. I know the admission is $15, but do you know how much I will have to pay for my NHRA license? I'll have to look it up on the National Trail site. Money is a little tight this week, so buying a helmet today and swinging an expensive entry fee might put me over the edge lol Do you have any pics of your Firebird? It will be interesting to see it once you get the motor swap done. I always wanted one of those era Firebirds, as they were out while I was in high school!

First time at the track, should be in the 12.7x range, but my dyno numbers were low so I'm not sure. My tune needs work. I'm looking to get a good base time before I start to really mod the car, and of course have some fun.

I think I may head over if I can get a helmet beforehand.

Is the battery in the trunk? I had a similar issue, and it ended up being a broken post at the alternative positive under the hood. This is where the alt and battery wires connected. Put my own bolt through them, no more problems. May want to trace down any loose connections. Shaun

It was a decent event, and everyone was friendly, but.... the guy that invited the g8 board is an intern at studio 47 and has a g8, nice guy. I didn't have a lot in common with the car owners, but there were some interesting rides. That Tesla was....... interesting..... I fully intend to attend the c&c at Lennox, I just knew this was a one time thing. The other is every sat right? I may see you this sat!

I attended a cars and coffee meet that I had heard about on the g8 forum Saturday. It was held at studio 47 in New Albany. There were some really cool cars and lots of $$$$ in the parking lot. These guys keep an immaculate shop. Yeah, they've been around for a few years, some bought them new, and a lot have strangely enough been bought decommissioned at auction. Biggest pia is that most have the plastic seats in the back and spot light hole in the pillar etc.... None the less , a 6.0 sedan!!

Maybe a few other parts that are worth more separately also, aluminum maybe?

If you go the scrap route, cut the cats off first. I just turned mine in for $100.

How does one get started? I assume there is a course to take, and probably an instructor for the first few runs? I am very interested in getting this boat out there. Shaun

I actually strongly agree with the French on this one....... hasn't happened for a while. Parents in this country are afraid/to lazy to discipline their children.
