  1. Ouch, I know it'll be a great floor, but $5k will buy a lot of equipment for my new shop. I completely understand having it professionally done, as the last thing I want to do is epoxy the floor twice! I just did not budget five thousand dollars for a floor coating. I need to look up how much prep is required on a new slab for diy epoxy. It would be worth meticulously keeping it clean through the cure time if the savings are half that. 2. I don't have any to sell, but if it helps, I just bought these on Amazon because I wanted a cheap pair for mowing. They work well and are very easy to use. Earbuds were hurting my ears to due necessary volume on the mower, these do a great job after about a months use. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  3. G8 GT if you don't mind 100k+ in your price range. LS, roomy, not a lot of issues outside of control arm replacement. No manual though, those are pricey. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  4. I've been very tempted to look into some of the vinyl plank flooring for garages. Several companies have commercial grade or even garage specific products. It lays down so easily and could give a really nice look. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  5. Wow, at that price, you may as well save money and get race deck. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  6. $95 hookup, $4 per mile. No discount. I guess that's just the going rate for towing these days.
  7. Wow. Great work and great looking truck. You really pulled a lot of shine out of 30 yr old paint. The interior looks great, I can't believe how little wear it shows. Tim, can we set up a schedule to get my truck done weekly? Lol Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  8. 3rd gen 4runner. 230k Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  9. Was it the high pressure pumps, or the low pressure pump in the tank? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  10. They do, two actually. I'm also wondering about voltage at this point, I think it's the original battery.... Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  11. Hmmm. Bottle of Lucas fuel treatment. Filled tank to 1/4 at the house. Disconnected battery for 1.5 hrs Cleaned front sensors Cleaned engine bay (no real bearing, just tired of getting dirty.) Warnings still on but starts and revs fine. Drove a 20 mile lap around town with no running issues. Warning messages went away before I got to the end of our road..... Still don't trust it for the wife to drive to Canton tomorrow. I drove it hard from 0-100 and hard braking. No symptoms at all. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  12. So, as mentioned in the other thread, my wife's 2014 GL450 died on 71. I scanned the codes and got fuel pressure codes which I'll post a pic of. I'm also getting a message about the presafe system on the DIC. (Crash avoidance/safety measures). My question is, is there a fuel problem, or is there an issue with the presafe system and it's cutting the fuel?? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  13. I put a fuel pressure gauge on it last night, and it seemed a bit sporatic. I'll dig into it a little deeper tonight. Can't have her putting all those miles on my truck! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  14. It is probably time to sell the Mercedes, I think it's around 130k now. She puts a good 30,000 miles a year on a vehicle, so it's really tough to stay ahead and check all the boxes. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  15. On a side note. The Callaway pulled it the 85 mile trip (picked up the wife at her Mt Vernon building) home like a champ. Trans temp never went over 185*. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  16. That's what I've always had, thanks a lot mother-in-law, lol. I suppose it's my fault for not checking, out of sight...... Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  17. This is what it's showing on the trailer. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  18. That's what I did, but hauled it home. She was 6 miles north of the 95 exit. 73 miles from our house in Pickerington. The bill from MAG would negate the towing savings! Lol Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  19. Yep, I had no idea. I'd always had the gold plan or whatever, and never had to pay for a tow. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  20. Apparently the going rate for towing is $4/mile.... I'll be picking it up with a uhaul car hauler. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  21. Awesome, will call now. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  22. Wife's Mercedes GL450 just broke down on 71 around Sunbury (?). Apparently our AAA membership went from our gold membership to the basic one when the mother-in-law decided to give it to us for Christmas....... Just curious if anyone has a towing recommendation for 71 north of Columbus to Pickerington, before I rent a trailer and drive up. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  23. Have you tried the reprogram procedure for your passkey system/key? I'd have to look it up for your truck. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  24. Unfortunately I've had some similar luck. Duff was great though, helped with my HVAC issue as quick/well as I could have asked for. I would offer a contractor reference, except that I'm fighting my own to show up and get me a shop started. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  25. Yet another nice pick up, what are the specs? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
