  1. Great work Clay. I can't believe we'll actually have a car meet on the east side! Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  2. Great work, that thing looks to be in great shape. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  3. Guilty. Think that there will still be any celebration riots? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  4. I wondered about doing it that way, but never have. They aren't bad at all, but we were installing 5100's so we needed to rebuild the coilover assemblies. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  5. I saw these, I'll have to watch some videos and see how they work out. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  6. I'm assuming you know that the "fright" was intentional after reading it? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  7. We've talked about these before. Last night I survived using these once again, to install a lift on my buddy's Tacoma. The safety pins will never fit over a spring that I have to compress. Every crank you have to wonder if it will be your last, a ticking time bomb that you and your good friend are voluntarily holding to the shop cart. Eventually I get impatient and put the impact on them, lol. There has to be something better. What have you found? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  8. Love it. Absolutely love it, the truck is awesome and the family story just makes it that much better. Pretty much every family car guys dream, to have his kids etc involved. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  9. That was definitely taken into consideration. It was a toss-up between not blocking the view of the pond when you pull back the driveway, or gaining a bit more seclusion in the backyard. Honestly didn't have much choice for placement, 2.5 acres goes quickly with a house, pond, and shop. The kids spend a lot of time in the backyard, so I don't hate that it blocks them a bit. We're going to plan a bunch of trees on the other side of the yard this year. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  10. It's a start. I'll get a much better idea when I can start final grade. Busy this weekend, but may rent equipment next weekend. I'd love to get some straw and seed down. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  11. Yeah, as you can see, my building size was pretty much determined by the area between the house and pond. The idea behind the "retaining wall" is to build up some earth there in order to drive my zero turn across. The foundation is 12' from the house and about 8-9' at the closet point to the pond. Hoping to get about 6-7' of dirt flat enough to drive the mower across.
  12. Finally getting to the point that I can do some work myself. I placed two of the three sandstones for my retaining wall by the pond. Left just enough room to get the lull through! (12') Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  13. I'm not sure how intricate they are, but have you tried any of the Sherwin-Williams or home Depot apps where you can apply the color to a picture of your house? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  14. Tim, how do you think the clear bra areas affect the "shine" of a detailed car? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  15. Tractor is correct, though I'm not siding with metal. It'll be Hardie siding, lap on the front and board and baton on the other 3 sides and false gable. Those are actually 2x6's on mine, it puts the framing flush with the inside of the posts, so I'll have flat walls once insulated and finished. I'll be adding a vertical brace in the center of each section.
  16. Ended up with right at 16' to the bottom-center of the truss. Should allow for a decent storage loft in the right half, and plenty for the lifts in the left. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  17. Someday soon I'll be posting about a lift install and actually working on cars in this thing....... Trusses are up.
  18. Great work as always Tim. It's tough to really catch the shine on some of those lighter colors, but you nailed it, amazing reflection. I've often thought one of those or an old Blazer would be a fun family cruiser with the removable top. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  19. Getting close! Well done. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  20. Fuck Hoblick, he sucks....... Just kidding, easiest transaction ever and he went above and beyond to make the job right for the things I bought wrong. Great work on my calipers. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  21. Really liked these, looked at them before we got the Volvo. It just didn't fit the milage the wife drives. How are you liking it after owning it for a while? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  22. You're my hero Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  23. Had to look this one up, but LOL Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  24. 4 walls...... Maybe he'll get a roof on it this month??
  25. Wow! Great progress. I can't wait to see this thing moving. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
