  1. Ordered wheels and tires online, need to have them mounted/balanced/tpms switched. I live on the east side, but willing to drive for a good price. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  2. It's not to difficult, depending on the curves. I'd buy the wider stuff to eliminate as much curving as possible. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  3. Welcome. Do you own a car yet, what specific vehicles are you into? There's all kinds around here. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  4. My dad needs one soon for his camper, can be small, mostly cheap. I thought if anyone has one they'd like to unload, I'd buy it for him. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  5. C'mon Clay, go to Lowe's and get two pieces of 1x4 and some all thread! Steel strips if you want to get fancy. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    Bank

I used to only use credit unions, but switched to Chase after a divorce. CU's are good for rates and smaller business feel, but I prefer the convenience of locations and phone app for Chase. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  8. No need to lay out 320 sqft. Chalk a couple lines across the room at different points (1/4, 1/2, etc...) Measuring from your starting wall. Hopefully it's straight, but you can pull your line across the base of it also, for a straight starting point. Lay out your first couple rows to get a good straight start, then start sticking them down, occasionally measuring out to the next chalk line to confirm the same distance from each end. Pretty simple.
  9. Wow, nightmare. I'm surprised that it messed up the truck so much.
  10. Looking good!! I gained a new appreciation for these at good guys autocross. I know it's not factory restored, but man do they look mean with a low suspension and wide tires all around!
  11. If you don't own a Sawzall, there's no time like the present!
  12. You should probably just fly me down to Florida to repair it. It'll save you at least $10. As far as hard lines to bend yourself, it's not difficult, and available at any AutoZone etc. GM would be the only source for prebent I'd imagine. PS. Don't forget you'll have to flare them as well. Maybe check for a small business shop that may be cheaper??

    ROADKILL!

I saw that. Season one I believe. Thought it was odd, but the show will get a lot of exposure.
  14. SS, 5.5" barrel, the gun shop offered $360 on it today, so can anyone beat that?
  15. I'd call microcenter, unless you're looking for temp, then maybe refrigeration controls on silver dr.
  16. City electric has often had small oddball things I've needed (terminals, 1/4 amp fuses, etc..), and the staff generally knows what you're talking about over the phone.
  17. Got picked up by Fujitec. Isn't a company I'm familiar with, but starting on Monday I'm officially an Elevator mechanics Apprentice. I better get the home projects wrapped up!!
  18. Hopefully nothing, but will avoid anyway. I know nothing about the necessary permits to protest, but if these violate those laws and police have to disperse, it could get messy.
  19. Good to hear, glad it worked out for you.
  20. This is why I love XM over FM, even if there is too much repetition, you just go to one of your other dozen favorite channels. They've been coming through with some good throwback channels lately. I believe used to love classic vinyl and rewind, but they've been terrible lately. I listen to both of the above mentioned channels and I really like Fly47, all of the old school rap and hiphop/R&B from highschool. My only complaint is that i haven't found a good replacement southern/classic rock station. I love CCR, animals, skynard, etc.. Anyone have a channel I've missed for those?
  21. I'll never buy a house that isn't an investment again. Buying at market value and paying interest with no equity for the first two years sucks. Some of them will take some work before move in, but put yourself in the situation to do that. We bought bank owned 3 years ago (when there were lots), because we loved the neighborhood. Paid $174k, pretty much replaced the entire interior myself, and finishing the basement. We'll have about $30k in renovation the end. A house directly across the Ravine from us, slightly less square footage, fewer updates, just sold for $312k. Feeling pretty good. Oh, the most important thing. Can your wife live through a remodel??
