  1. With all the playoff scenarios talked about in V6, my question is this, If Ohio State doesn't make it into the top 4, does anybody really care who wins the NC game? I for one could care less if it's not Ohio State.
  2. No argument there. I'm of the opinion, that with the way I drive, if I get a ticket, more likely than not, I deserve it. And I pay the fine.
  3. I'm the same way. I was told by morenthan one cop, that Ohio is a 9 you're fine,10 you're mine state. I always have the cruise set to 8 over on highways, and 5 over on most surface streets. Last time I was ticketed was 07 in Washington State.
  4. It wouldn't be just people living in Columbus that would be paying for it. Those thatwork in Columbus and live in the burbs would also be paying. Hell, I pay more in Columbus city tax tahn I do Pickerington city taxes. And working the grave yard shift, I would never benefit from it.
  5. In case you missed it, team Cadillac and Johnny O'Connell have won the manufacturer, and drivers championships respectively 3 years in a row in the Pirelli World Challenge series. Here's to hoping for more championships to come.
  6. I thought they were funny. As a former C-17 technician, I got a real kick out of the 2nd one.
  7. Let's see. Bama barely sqeaks by a lower ranked LSU in OT, and #6 TCU stomps a hole in # 7 Kansas team. I think TCU should leap frog Bama to #3. OSU should move into top 10.
  8. He blew that dude up. That was awesome.
  9. Hopefully they're working Marshall in at QB so that the wildcat will be less predictable. For God's sake, throw the damn thing every now and then to keep defenses from loading the box against the run.

  11. That's a stand-up young man right there. Kudos and best of luck to him.
  12. This, but lets make it a twin turbo, with say around 800 hp. That would work rather well.
  13. A lot of things to consider here. First and foremost is where ould you be happiest? Next consider cost of living compared to salary. Also have to consider career progression. Is there upward mobility in Carolina as you said there was in Nevada? A lot to consider. Good luck with your decision.
  14. Nice clean Vette. Congrats.
  15. The problem during Vt game, was that OSU hadn't seen the "bear" defense coupled with the fact that the O-line had a combined 21 or so starts under their belts. And 16 of those starts were Decker's. I agree, Rutgers won't stay in that defense long after being gashed a couple times.
  16. Awesome videos. Major cojones to make those climbs, but, NOPE! couldn't do it.
  17. I watched it as well. Gotta say, I'm about tired of these heart attack games. Great outcome though. Hopefully they can beat Shitsburgh next week.
  18. I tend to agree with the guys that sya it should be discussed with the wife. I'm in the fortunate position, being retired military, that my wife and I make a good living. She says I can drive whatever my retirement check can pay for. She had no problem when I bought my CTS-V.
  19. I don't carry everyday, but when I do, I carry either my Glock 27 or my 30S. I personally like the larger caliber, and higher capacity. My wife carries a Kahr CW9, and she carries everyday. As posted before, you should try many different weapons and decide for yourself what you are most comfortable with. And that goes for holsters as well. I prefer the Foxx Trapp. Good luck with your search.
  20. Thank you very much Wagner. This is the exact pic that I was about to post. It was taken this past weekend at Cars and Coffee.
  21. I'm Mike, and I live in Pickerington Ohio. I retired from the Air Force after a 26 year career, and am currently employed as an Electronic Technician at the Postal Service. I drive a '12 Cadillac CTS-V, which my wife affectionately refers to as my mistress. I'll post a pic or two later, as the work computer will not allow me access to photobucket or anything like that. My only mod to date is an Airaid CAI. I'm planning for electric cutouts, and a ported throttle body in the near future, but that's it until the warranty runs out. Later mods will be an upper pulley, tune, and probably injectors. I found out about this site at Columbus cars and coffee, where I was told that this was the forum to be on for anything racing or any other car events in the area. While I've never had my car on the track, I'd like to put her on a road course, and I think it would be fun to do a flying 1/2 mile or mile run to see how fast she is.
