Tim, you are a magician. I still cannot thank you enough. As Eric stated, it needed a little TLC on the mechanical side (Eric saw it during the winter when I had to drive it while my E36 was down for repairs, so it looked like crap. Really presented like it did when you received it), but nothing outlandish. The previous owner just couldn't get into German cars and decided to sell and I was lucky enough to land (steal) it.
These cars are pretty bulletproof as long as they are maintained. The E60 is the troubled big brother that is known for a number of issues. Especially those of the rod bearing variety. Truly a BMW classic that puts a smile on my face.
