  1. brake line fixed. reconnected with an old friend from highschool. has a shop in pataskala. the whole shabang but no tire balancing stuff. i dont think i need unfunnyryan anymore </3
  2. hello all! I'm trying to get some work done by the end of the year. bearing and brakes who knew.... got my cart all filled up. got parts based on cost/quality. dont expect the jeep to last forever. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Deq27Qdh3fVD8MD2A Main question i have is, does my cart look okay? am i missing anything? Pads and rotors were done within 20k.the busted seal on p/s rear coated everything in grease. cleaned it out, im assuming itll look bad again :/ driven on my ebrake...a few times. doesnt work anymore but signal on dash does so im hoping the pads are shot. if its a cable im not messing with it. ill probably get fluids for my drivetrain also....watch i actually have bad case bearings on this topic. i need to get 2 rear axle bearings pressed....and maybe taken off if i can get a grinder....hmu!
  3. looks dumb with the e... did you read it backwards?!! i always have to point it out to people
  4. he's running a ryzen 9 and he has a 3090 he inputs his electric price per kw and this is his profits. all taxes straight money into pocket. he actually recently started on ETH https://photos.app.goo.gl/twikqbFFs35USyoT7 hes using software from nicehash.com
  5. unfunnyryan showed it to me while I am borrowing his headset. makes mechanic sim look even stupider. very realistic and seems to have some education qualities. the demo is free of course but i'm recommending it to anyone who has access to a VR headset. *found on the Oculus store* Wrench: engine building has other aspects aside from just building and tear down. sorry if this isnt OC
  6. my buddy is using high-end desktops to mine BTC. hes using nicehash.com and it only runs with the computer is idle or if you set to manual mode for all day. he is making money per day in BTC and if power isnt an issue consider running the program for transactions. doesnt matter if the price is up or down if someone is buying or selling youre making money. ps. im new to the crypto game but i recently setup a coinbase account and use it for investment purposed. i dont trade or move my coin around. fees for everything. its definitely worth researching the markets before you put money into anything.
  7. hello everyone! My name is William and I'm thankful for having a community of people that are share similar interests in cars. I've always tinkered with my cars here and there but I've finally realized the value in doing your own repairs. I love my 2004 jeep GC 4.7. she's old but she rip roars still I always ask questions and watch videos before I work and I just want to say thank you you prematurely to anyone who take their time to help me with my issues. This past April I bought a 2009 Yamaha stratoliner with a commander and pipes and its a freaking blast to ride. I'm craving to get it out even on these 40degree days. its in excellent condition and loud as F. if you ever see a skinny dude riding a big bike wearing tie-dye feel free to catch up Aside from wrenching alongside my dad back in the day i used to own a 2stroke street go-ped. SUPER FUN. traded it to a buddies brother for his bigfoot off-road go-ped. MORE SUPER FUN. always was putting mods on it and messing with the carb. I remember being young(12) and going to the point for night time street races. I haven't done anything like that years but I'm glad some people are still in the game. stay safe everyone
  8. locked my keys in my car, was jimmying in and cop passed, honestly i waved him down to help. he was having a mediocre time hitting my switch, turns and looks at me and said "it would be so hard if your windows werent illegally tinted." i preached ionly had the car a couple months(truth) and i never noticed them being too dark. i doubled checked and asked if id be digging myself a hole to have him check with his fancy checker. he said nah and proceeded. batteries dead of course. asked me if i didnt mind waiting for him to call for backup. i didnt mind we chilled. backup arrived and they checked....30% o sheeeeeet. no ticket...cool guys actually.....also never removed my tint ps i had just met up with my internet gamer friend for the first time IRL. we met at his grandparents. nothing like first time meetup and having 2 cops outside within 15-20 minutes of meeting lol
  9. im not ecstatic about my repair job but were definitely happy with the results..im prepared to get shamed but this is my reno of our 1997 popup https://photos.app.goo.gl/rhTjarsZemT4M1xT7
  10. @zeit, not from what ive seen. but thank you for the link. i may need something like that in the future. i love my jeep and will work on it until rust kills it. @gerg thanks for the picture and instructions! i didnt think about the filter gasket. should probably do it while im in there. just checking im sure this is it. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/jeep,2004,grand+cherokee,4.7l+v8,1420771,engine,oil+pump+seal,5608 im assuming this will go on the top connecting end? cant find any great pictures but seems self explanatory also ive seen plenty of videos that show it coming off w/o taking the starter off...although it seems easy to do i dont think i will mess with it. "not broken dont touch it"
  11. still not funny i see... nothing changed oh yeah thanks for ALL that help with my radiator...
  12. getting a few drips after parking my car. family mech doesnt think its the rear seal (woo) but im tired of dripping when i park and having cardboard under my car. watched a few videos... appears ill have to move my exhaust pipes around. those havent been touched since install im assuming. any recommendations on trying to get it apart without breaking bolts. id like it to go back together without welding. has anyone done work like thios before on a jeep? anything i should be worried about or what i could encounter? how is it trying to maneuver the oil pickup tube? should i replace the filter or just clean it im buying a gasket and tray. ill clean up the old pan seems to be fine. i also picked up a mopar plug and gasket just to be safe 2004 jeep grand cherokee limited v8 4.7 131,000 miles have done plenty of maint work over the years has had head gasket replaced on front right side only replaced radiator a few months ago...did that all myself
