Coworker was in a meeting today and waved her Galaxy Nexus over this quarter sized Droid tag....The phone beeped and she said that turned wifi on, ringer and bluetooth off. Maybe I am behind cause I switched to iPhone, but that's pretty cool. According to her you can set the tag to do various actions on your phone. Depends on how far you get into it to be honest. Getting the tank is the cheapest part. People have been successful keeping an octopus, but they are escape artist, so you cannot have ANY opening on your tank...Not even small ones. Also, you cannot have much flow at all due to them getting blown around or sucked into a powerhead. Cool creature, but not much you can add with them that they won't eat. IMO, they would make for a pretty boring tank.

All the things you mentioned are not reasons you'd get full custody. In fact, you're actually in a situation she could take your kid, right now, and let you see him/her when it's convenient for her. When you aren't married at the time of birth, the mother has basically all the rights when it comes to the child. What you're setting yourself up for with your description of her is more leverage for her to get as much child support as the state will allow to make sure your child is secure when with her. Basically, it's very hard to get full custody. You'll likely get shared parenting with a pretty stiff child support payment.
