Every year they do not make enough for launch day, less than 20 min in the order window and no phone on launch day.

Those days are gonna be over soon, with everyone going on a next plan, you have to give the phone back that you paid 12 months on. And the majority of people will be on these plans going forward, I doubt many pay the full price for the phone at launch. People with a 30 month old phone (2 gen old) will own it.

I would doubt it, Apple is calling for about an hour longer batt life from the 6s+ to the 7+ with the quad core that uses the small cores to do simple tasks. If that nets only an hour, no way a different modem is going to show longer battery life, I bet I could attain longer life by turning off GPS for Facebook and other apps that use it and suck battery like no other.

Here is a good piece of info too: If you buy a iPhone 7 or 7+, buy a Verizon or Sprint one. They have the Qualcomm modem that is CDMA and GSM. The AT&T and T-Mobile versions have the intel modem only that is ONLY GSM. You can't wait in line on launch day anymore, they did away with that a couple years ago. You have to pre-order online to get a phone on launch day. You then get an appointment to come pick it up at a store, why you would do that instead of shipping to your home is beyond me. Oh and I couldn't get my order in for the first 15 min last year, and since my order was 16 min into the launch I didn't get my phone until a week after launch day.

They have to, the 7 is the third stint in this body, it's the same as the 6 and 6s. You just can't see the antennas now. The 10th anniversary is rumored to lose the home button and have wireless charging that happens over wifi. Not needing a silly dock. The jet black is just a finish, all the other colors look just like the 6 and 6s.
