Sam, I know what you mean. I saw many driver's seats that I wondered if the driver was 400 lbs and wore a studded belt. You'd never know mine had the mileage by looking at the interior. Here is the only shot of the drivers seat that shows where the typical wear marks and cracks would be. The lines in the leather look worse in the pic than in person. I'll half defend the OP, because I too used to be like this (obsessed about keeping a truck spotless). I would spend an hour+ wiping it back down whenever it was driven to save time getting it ready on show days. I understand the pride you feel once you finish a multiple hour detail and stand back and look at your work. Having the actions of someone else "ruin" that feeling sucks. But, I think you could have gotten home and wiped down your inner fenders in less time than it took to stop and instigate that situation.?.?

Well, there have been a shit ton and a half of offers on this thing. But, the car is now unavailable until at least late September. My father paid for himself, me, his 92 'vert and my Z06 to attend the Mid America's Corvette FunFest in Illinois in late September. That's too good of a father/son thing to pass up. I am canceling all of the viewings I had set up for now. I am keeping everyone's contact information, and will call folks back in the order they contacted me if (and probably when) the car is available again. Sorry and thanks.

I would be just as pissed as you. I also expect borrowed shit to come back at least as nice as it left my place. That's why I rarely loan anything to anyone anymore. I would talk to the neighbor and ask them to spend some time with paint thinner, mineral spirits, or whatever it takes to fix it back up. It is important, because if you needed to come up with some quick cash and sell the washer, it was just devalued by your thoughtless neighbor.
