  1. This isn't about old vs. new. ANYthing that was hurt badly enough to put a hole through a block and put a hole through a head is not worth nearly as much as a non-repaired engine to me; I am sure some people would pay that much. I understand what shit for these engines cost, and I think it's cool there is one here on CR for sale (or soon to be I guess). When, or if, this is posted in the For Sale section, I'll personally delete any comments questioning the price.
  2. You asked for opinions. Mine is this: when I can buy an engine that has never been hurt with 1,000 miles on it for $7500 shipped (so, $7000 picked up probably), $6500 is not a good deal for one that has had a hole in the block and re-sleeved. The other comparison, for the modded LS7, would be $8000 picked up vs. your $7000. So, again, your's is cheaper, but in my mind, it's like buying a salvage titled car. It just isn't worth the same and can't be compared apples-to-apples. Not trying to get in a pissing match man, the LS7 is badass in any form. Edit: shiping not included in the $7500 motor.
  3. Understood. But, here is your "competition" - Never hurt LS7, with aftermarket cam and supporting mods for $8500, and that is shipped to your door. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-parts-sale-wanted/1963803-fs-2007-ls7-longblock.html And, from our fellow member - 1k mile LS7 shipped for $7500 http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-parts-sale-wanted/2028467-wts-1k-mile-ls7-long-block-minus-intake.html
  4. Since this isn't the for sale section, and you're just asking opinions, that's twice what I would ever pay for an engine that's been 50% re-sleeved and had a hole in the block and head.
  5. NW scored their touchdown on a sneaky, (well-played), hurry-up 2-3 yard run. They deserved everything they got after that.
  6. Fake punts, going long, not taking a knee... ABOUT TIME.

  8. Those are almost as wide as my rear tires. Do they make a 465 wide?
  9. Great reply. Serioulsly, your help is appreciated.
  10. Browsing CL today, I see this picture, and since it's halftime, I figured I would waste 2 minutes and post it. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f165/PLATINUMPAPI/P1010077.jpg

  12. "Welcome to the Arena. We will spraypaint the exterior of a block, install a $69 chrome engine kit and tell you about the freshly rebuilt engine."
  13. It's at the Arena. Ruuuuuuuuunnnnnn away.
  14. Good, I don't want to look for it.
  15. I have chosen to leave it open so that others may learn from your drunken anti-humor. Speaking of that, must go on beer run for OSU game...
  16. Repost, yet I can't find the old thread.
  17. I bet you get tired of walking around on plastic tarps all day.
  18. Ha, I understand what you're going through. I often miss the GTZ I had when I was younger. People can't understand why.
  19. Yes, tightening the nut will pull it through. You can just flip the lug nut around so the tapered part is towards you.
