Check ebay, that is where I got the goods for my swap the folks at dynotune motorsports will not steer you wrong. I started with an AOD and am completely happy with my t5. Mike G. at dynotune is the guy to talk to for AOD to T5 swaps. He did mine almost a year ago and I am completely happy. No probs with the neutral safety switch or the back up switch. These guys are a class act. You will not hear a bad word about them.

Thats what I was going to recommend, suspension and tires, brakes too. You'll have fun. The people at the local autox seem to be a good bunch, competitive, but out there for fun. Ive been thinking of getting the stang modded to where I could have a good time with it next season.

Nice find, but you'd be surprised at the number of low mileage f-bodies sittin in garages. Once people heard the rumor that production of the f-body was going to cease, one metric shit ton of them became garage queens. Not saying there are not plenty of ragged out V8 and V6 fbodies, (or somewhere in between) but many of their owners were old school and had the wisdom and money to put them away for the future. Truthfully, by the final generation, GM had priced the platform into a niche where only steadfast, diehard f body lovers would purchase them off the showroom floor. Dealerships are all the same, either this place absolutely screwed someone and wants to flip it before the harsh winter weather sets in, or whatever.

The guy isnt on here much, if at all, but he posts as Turbovan or Trbovan. He made has a vinyl cutter and made me some decals (bobcat paw, Im an old skool OU alum, not rice). Anyways I described what I wanted, he emailed me the pic of the design, I approved it and he shipped the product, quickly and exactly what I wanted. It'll leave cayenne's in the dust. Its got that All wheel launch that is just...titties. I drooled over the 98 5.9 limiteds and this SRT is just sex. I have driven the WK (same platform with the 4.7l) and it is nice. They did a lot of work on sound deadening over the WJ's. Lots of usable space, that I wish I had now. Let the chrysler guys tweak the suspension and toss in a 6.1L and OMGHI2URASS. The TJ has better offroad capabilities, but 99% of them aren't going to see worse than the mall parking lot.
