As cheap as dual core chips have become, it'd be silly to do a new build without using one.

I'm having similar problems here as well. I've tried it on two different computers, so I'm sure it's the connection. Road runner is being really weird. I can't even get onto e-bay to check my auction.

Sounds like you didn't plug in a lead for the power. I did the same thing as twisted focus when I built my A64. Look at the top left of the board. There is a 4 pin power connector, make sure its plugged in. The computer won't boot without that power connector. It's an easy connector to miss.

My mom had an '04 Maxima and it had a similar coating applied by the dealer. The funny thing is that it came with a brief-case sized box of synthetic wax-stuff, a special carwash, and a CLAY BAR! The manual that came with the box recommended application of the wax every 4-6 months. It's a complete rip off. Even with the coating, you still have to wax it a couple times a year. Don't bother.

you can also try a car on compressed air. Stick it in the CD slot and spray away. You can get them at any computer store, or sometimes in meijer/kroger in the electronics section. Make sure not to turn it upsidedown while you're spraying it.

I hate USPS shipping. It's guarnteed to be late. I've personally seen a 3 day delivery take 4 weeks, twice. Not joking at all.

mine did sonething similar to that a while ago. It ended up being the switch that detects if the door is open.

I will also include the retail packaging and all the cables/documentation that came with the card. The cooler and Ram sinks are already mounted to the card, and I really don't want to seperate them. 6600GT AGPs retail for $130. Cooler retails for $24.

This is a stupid idea. You would have more cash into modifing the engine, than you would if you held out for a newer/larger engine.
