  1. OR I could buy an Xbox 360 and stream every photo, video, and song on my PC straight to my big screen. And play kick ass games!
  2. I was working at our Chase location for a while. A couple people had their converters stolen there as well. LOL, i really don't know if the Jimmy has one. If it did come with one from the factory, its long gone by now.
  3. I looks like a zombie that ate it's own lips, so it's teeth are exposed and the damned thing is drooling all over the place.

    i got owned

Dude, wtf man? if you need one now, go to Micro Center, CompUSA, BestBuy, or Circuit City might even have some. You obviously aren't up shit creek if you are still able to post from a different pc.
  5. Easily the best titties I have seen so far into 2007. Shawn, wtf man. I'm about to delete your sig. :shudder:
  6. I am wondering why I bothered to fix the 4WD in the Jimmy at all now. I want multiple feet of snow to fall!
  7. I fixed it for ya Brian.
  8. My brother had one he was trying to sell. He didn't have any luck on e-bay. If you would like I can call him and see if he still has it. He was considering returning it to bestbuy. It's a 20GB version.
  9. no one has a CD player sitting in their basement or garage collecting dust?
  10. My bro had a 20 gig he wanted me to throw on e-bay for him. The highest bid was $415.
  11. I need a relatively inexpensive CD player. I need it to be in good working order, have an aux input, and working pre-amp outputs, and the mounting cage. MP3 CD capability is a plus, but not a necessity. Anybody have a CD player laying around before I trek to Circuit City and get a new one?
  12. Putting an iPod to good use. And many other interesting videos.
  13. A CableCard is a cable box about the size of a PCMCIA card, like you would put in a laptop. There is a slot on teh back of the TV you insert the card into. My tv supports CableCard. I think you can get a HD CableCard. Also, there are several digital channels broadcast over the air in HD. You can pull them in with regular rabbit ears and those simply connect through a regular Coxial cable. So yes, there are HD cables behind the tv.
  14. Oh get real people. It's probably an artist's rendering or something like that. I'd be willing to bet that photo chopped image was made by someone who's only affiliation to Ford is the Explorer they drive to work. Ford isn't that stupid. They aren't going to ruin the name of the only icon they have.
  15. E-bay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150070906501
  16. Can the shotgun and the chipper/shredder be purchased as a combo?
  17. Yes, there is a write up for the process! http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00444840.pdf It requires removal or the optical drive, hard drive, keyboard, monitor, and some plastics, but it's easy if you've ever worked on a computer before. That guide from HP is very good, except there are an additional 7 screws you need to remove from the plastic base it doesn't tell you about. Also, I found a program called RMClock that I've used to further lower CPU power consumption. CPU now idles at .85v and full power at 1.15v (vs 1.0v and 1.3v default) RMClock should work with the Sempron too.
  18. I have a used Mobile AMD Sempron 2800+ Processor. It's in perfect working order. -Socket 754 -1600 MHz (supports AMD speed throttling) -1600 MHz Hyper Transport -Mobile chip = lower power consumption and low heat output -64KB+64KB L1 cache -256KB L2 cache -32 bit chip (does not support 64 bit) -Enhanced virus protection -Part number SMS2800BQX3LF This would be a great chip for a silent Home-theater PC or a low cost laptop build. Looking for $40

  20. Newegg has the AMD Turion 64 MT-37 (oem) version for $99.99 shipped. This processor is a 2.0 GHz processor with 128 L1 cache and 1MB L2 cache. Processor uses a very tiny 25 watts of power. Benefits to this processor: (Much!) more processing power, less heat, longer battery life! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103521 Install took me 60-90 minutes total. If you're interested in upgrading the processor, any Turion up to ML-37 or MT-37 should work. Sorry, the new Turion X2s won't work. MT-xx = 25w power usage. ML-xx = 35w power usage. At idle, the Turion throttles back to 800 MHz and uses a measly 1.0v. That's a 17% decrease in processor power usage. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/th_CPUz.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/th_2CPUs.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/th_cooler.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/th_LCD.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/th_systemboard.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/th_kbrd.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/th_kbrdcover.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/th_back.jpg
  21. Use the wireless G router. The data transfer speeds (11mbps for B, 54mbps for G) are theoretical maximum speeds. I've found in practice that my 6Mb roadrunner cable connection has more bandwidth than a wireless B connection can support. Use the wireless G router and buy a G card and don't look back.
  22. Robot Ninja. I need one of these, and I need it to be 12' tall.
  23. I remember that show, I watched it a few times when I was younger. That link fails to deliver. This is me not laughing
  24. I suppose that much is true. I still have the component cables timewarner brought when I ordered the HD box last year. Personally, I am impatient and I would have gone out and bought a set at a store and kept the recept. I would have called WOW and told the operator that I would be withholding the amount that the cables ran me, and sending in a copy of teh recept with my bill. When it comes to my money, I really don't fuck around. Anyway, OFF TOPIC! If you aren't interested in purchasing James' TV.... deleting off topic posts... 52"...
