GF has a 2002 Mazda Tribute with the V6. It's basically a Ford Escape. The A/C only works when the vehicle is at idle. It cuts out when the revs are up. Any ideas here?

Most newer small engines have an automatic choke. Some don't even have a primer. Remove the air cleaner to access the carb. Remove the bowl (nut on bottom). Go nuts with carb cleaner. Also spray carb cleaner in the intake. Put it back together and let it sit for a few and try again. If that doesn't do it, spray a flammable aerosol into the intake (starter fluid, carb cleaner, brake parts cleaner) with the filter removed and immediately try to start.

Here's the issue: they illegally lane changed, but technically had the right of way since they were headed straight. You were waiting on the light to change and waited for on coming traffic to stop before you went (red). You still have to yield. One of those grey areas of the law. This happened to me recently in my TBSS. I was turning left, Exploder was behind a vehicle that stopped on a late yellow. The Exploder illegally changed lanes and ran the (now)red light. I was within inches of getting t-boned. I prob would have still been cited for not yielding, or we would have both been on our own. People are assholes, but I've NEVER done that.
