You can use redsn0w if you're unlocked. The problem is you lose that unlock. That's where the 6.15.00bb is supposed to come into play. Seems that way.

Apple won't let you install anything but the latest firmware. Download the 4.3.1 from here (assuming you have an iphone 3gs) that is 4.3.1. Shift+click "restore" in iTunes, select that firmware. Once it's restored open redsn0w. Point it towards that same firmware. Should work just fine. Mine did, except for the whole iPad baseband issue. So, again DO NOT CHECK "use iPad baseband". Edit: complete list of iOS firmwares.

Basically, but it's a modified iPad BB that works on iPhones and still allows a carrier unlock. Here's the problem, it's not possible to downgrade a baseband. The iPad BB is 6.15.00 The iPhone BB is 5.xx.xx.

Trolls, please piss off. Really need my cell working. I've got a 3gs. Today I updated to 4.3.1 thru iTunes. I used redsn0w to JB, and I wanted to keep my unlock so I selected the "use iPad baseband" option. BB 6.15.00. When I came up into iOS 4.3.1, I noticed I had no data connection. No biggie, installed ultrasn0w thru Cydia, still no connection with AT&T. I restored and JB'ed again, same result. I tried to restore and JB without the "use iPad BB" option. Bricked. I tried to restore back to iOS 4.1 (have SHSH's saved on Cydia) , got iTunes error 1600, 1603, or 1604 (I tried several times). I then made a basic custom .ipsw thru pwnagetool, iTunes errors there too, received error 24 and 1015. It's stuck in recovery now, TinyUmbrella won't kick it out, green poison failed, sn0wbreeze failed, the Redsn02 "boot tethered" option doesn't work. Any ideas? I've been googling, I haven't found anything terribly useful.

go to iclarified.com download the latest firmware from them. Shift+click restore and install that firmware thru itunes. Google "iPhone dev team" down load redsn0w from them. Run redsn0w, follow directions, DO NOT CHECK "Use iPad baseband". have the latest iOS, be jailbroken, be able to run apps that require 4.0+

Well, fuck! Redsn0w+ BB6.15.00+ iOS 4.3.1= BRICK!

Fucking iTunes. Restored to fresh 4.3.1, and for some reason iTunes backed up the freshly blank iphone OVER my existing backup. Fuck.

Average right now is 14.7mpg, a pretty good split. I drive 95% highway to work, and rural/city driving to the GF's place. Just highway I've seen 18-20mpg cruising at 65. The included, but not installed e-fans should net another 1-2MPGs, and non-winter blend fuel will add about the same. New price, $16,000.

Bump! $16,000 Don't buy a vehicle based on current temporarily inflated fuel prices! I bought this when 87 octane was over $4.00/gal, and guess what... Fuel didn't stay that expensive for long, It was quickly back to under $3.00 a gal for 93. Find a nicer, loaded TB_SS with under 90k miles at this price...

Gun is all together. Pics coming when I have free time. The combo armorer's wrench I ordered from Del-Ton was a POS. The free float wrench was out of spec. Had to take a dremel to it to make it fit my barrel nut. At least they shipped quickly tho.

That looks like the G2. Most likely the same phone. I didn't know Alltel was still around.
