Ohio does have helmet laws and I think they are a good minimum. Riders under the age of 18 and novice riders (first year) have to wear a helmet. I think that's at least a good start.

Yeah I don't know anyone that means literally a 200MPG gas only engine. Neither did I. It's an exaggeration to make a point by most I know that make that statement.

Here's the point we could easily have an alternative energy or cars that got 200 miles to the gallon in the next 5 years if we wanted. There just has to be a true demand for it. As long as we keep pumping out oil from new places you better believe they are going to take their time finding it. Milk everyone of us gas guzzling suckers for all we're worth with the current technology we have so they don't have to invest as much in new technology quickly.

Some will need to be bailed out, but not all. There's a couple like Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac that if left to fail could cause our economy to nearly collapse. I'm not sure that wouldn't be a bad thing necessarily, but I don't have too much faith in my fellow human beings.

I tell you what if I could find some place close that I could take the boys to ride 2-3 times a week they wouldn't have a choice. They would love it though.

Didn't get to see it but read about Pedrosa losing it after having the lead. At least that's what I got from the short blurb I read. Tough losing that many points with a DNF with everything being so close. Hopefully his injuries aren't too bad.
