Alright. I'm taking Penn over Sherk. Jardine vs Silva is definitely a pure money bet and Jardine is where I'd put money, but also think it could go either way. He is fighting Wanderlei after all. I'm also taking Ortiz over Machida. If nothing else I think Tito can over power and ground and pound this one out. I'm going to pick on a couple of the others I think... Silva over Mendes. Sokoudjou over Nakamura. He has to win or his career is going to become painful for him.
Sorry there just isn't enough personal responsibility and the repercussions for our actions these days are just too light. In this case the "reap what we sow" should be the driver getting suitable harsh punishment for being responsible for the death of a fellow human being.
Bummer. His family and friends are definitely in our thoughts. RIP brother. These are pretty much my thoughts too. People drive like this and are less attentive these days and there needs to be a message sent that wakes people up. Frankly I'll be pissed if he doesn't get charged with involuntary vehicular homicide or something similar.
Oh shit that's funny. He deserves it though. Unfortunately the only lessons he'll take home are a) not to bring a jacket to begin with, b) half helmets are great head gear, and 3) large saddle bags will allow him to carry even more shit.
It would be great to get a bunch of you done for a ride sometime. Maybe get a group of you down for a group ride and the Hill Climbs down in Oregonia closer to the end of the season at the very least.
e-flores is absolutely right. It's definitely one of those bikes you have to see in person. The photos on the Honda site are just horrible. I'll have more pics up this weekend. If there's anything you want a "close up" of let me know and I'll post it up.
Sorry I wasn't inferring you were lying, but that our country's leadership wasn't being completely honest. You're welcome and thank you for yours as well.
Yeah I was surprised they really did get it so small with the much "larger" engine. I about crapped my pants when I gave a bit o' throttle the first time. Of course that was followed by a huge ass grin. It's amazing though I can't wait to get out and put more miles on it. It feels more nimble than the 600 did. My wife sat on it and the first words out of her mouth were that it feels lighter to her than the 600. The console is completely different and looks like it has some neat things on it but I'll have to wait until I'm done with work to read through the manual though.
