  1. Left at 10 it was just me and a friend riding a fireblade. Met up w/ a z1000 and a gsxr down there. gotta be careful down there, lots of rocks in the corners. Sections of 56 are getting downright nasty to ride. 274(I think thats it anyway) northbound is sweet!! 188 is lots of fun as well.

  2. Just putting the word out. I had some minor motor work done recently, and Josh did an excellent job. Even did a few things that werent in the job description. He's a great guy and I'll be using him in the future.

Thanks to dragknee and r6chic for the heads up.

  3. Skip, this is how ate up my boss(es) is/are. Everyone had the week off since Wednesday.....they said, dont come in til Monday, got called in today, and I only have to work about 5 hours tomorrow, I'll be free after about 2pm on saturday and I'll join ya for sure if you like.

If you go on 270, north or south, past the M/I building at Easton, theres a new building under construction, it will be Safe Auto. Thats what Im working on. Last minute b.s.......Did I mention I love my job :nono:

Sunday at 10 am is for sure.

  4. Weather will be nice, meet at bob evans on Gender Rd. around 10 or so, then take a leisurely  stroll through the hills of Hocking. Who's game?

Edited original post, Forced to work saturday, so like bluebandit said, Sunday it is.

  5. Last year, I got a ticket from the police officer in the original post. I was speeding, 135 in a 65, he got me just south of Morse Rd, sitting between the merging lane, and the far right lane.

Heres the thing though. He was very, Very cool. He told me because I wasnt on 1 wheel, or weaving through traffic, and that the traffic was very light at that time, he wouldnt give me a ticket for reckless op. I asked for no favors, nor did I expect them. He did tell me he was a rider, and that he understands why I was going that fast, just that it IS against the law and I need to slow it down. I said, "yes sir". A phrase I first learned in the military, works well because you show respect. So I got my $150.00 speeding ticket and 2 points, but the officer really could have made life rough for me.

Funny thing though, he said he was suprised I didnt run. Even said the bike was nice.

  6. Yeah, we checked out the parking lot at the Alum Creek BMV. You can't even push our bikes in a tight enough circle to do the u-turn part. It's gonna take a pretty damn small bike.

I've seen harleys make it. Your 929 can too. As mentioned above, the course is a good way to go. Trail brake that u-turn, its a cakewalk.

  7. yes, i was excited to win my frist race. i just bought the bike in january (my first bike) and to have people call me out (an EVO 8 with Cams, higher boost, bolt ons etc) i just didnt know how my f4 would do.

    to the haters :thefinger:

    Congratz!!

  8. Rule of thumb..

Leave no witnesses to dispute anything you say to the law..(Unfortunately that is the way it has to be these days to cover your ass.. who knows what that other kid will say once he gets on the stand..)

As bad as it sounds, if that were my porch, there would be more then one corpse laying around because his friend wouldnt have been so lucky.

double tap, switch targets, repeat until situation is safe.

Trained for years on the double tap. +2.
