  1. I'm thinking the time is now, the place is here. Forget the minor details! Pops
  2. Iron Pony is having free Hooter's wings around noon this Saturday the 10th. Superbike race is on at 11, Flat track after that and the 200 to follow all live on the bigscreen. Pops
  3. One more note on that. If you go on a roadtrip, give someone a spare key and get one from them. I lost one in Canada at Mosport and was really glad that I gave my friend my spare before we hit the road. Pops
  4. With Ya sistah. May date is out, I'll be in Springfield IL for the mile Dirt Track race, and my fifty first birthday. The Zuke has now seen the ice at Buckeye Lake and sent me to St Anne's last weekend. Time to go back to motard trim and try a track day. Pops
  5. Ya know, after watching the fiasco last year, including Owndjoo's spectacular crash, October is not the time to roadrace here in Ohio. I just took the ice studs out of my tires and now there's two inches of snow on the ground here at the PPP. Plus there was no turnout at Mid Ohio last October. I personally saw that and if we can't support it locally we have no right to bitch about it going elsewhere! Pops
  6. A bunch. He was there for two. Next weekend Iron Pony is having a Daytona 200 party. The race on the big screen and free Hooters Wings. Get off your Ass and talk to him about it! BTW, how was your Spa weekend last week? Pops
  7. I turned 50 last Memorial Day riding a KTM across Costa Rica. This year, 51, will see me and my DR-Z400 at the Springfield Mile Dirt Track race. 52, I'm shooting for Phillip Island Moto GP. 55, retired! Pops
  8. Go to Iron pony and talk to Clutch. He doesn't get on line much so just go talk to him. He graduated from there and I can tell you that you can not start classes there until you have personally visited the facility. We did our visitation during bike week. I was impressed.
  9. Not to throw a wrench in anyone's works. Not His and I may rent a theater for this movie on the North side. She's heading for Daytona this weekend so it'll at least be next weekend, I'll pass it along if anyone's interested. Pops
  10. Goose, Thank you. Putty, 'taint good, call me and I'll fill you in. Plus side, my ice studs will be here tomorrow or Tuesday. No more tek screws, now I really get to play at Buckeye Ocean. Meeting Not His for lunch at Average Joes on Sancus today, 2/18, if anyone wants to join us. Pops
  11. I'm sticking with this one, although I really would like to see the Pink bike. I had a friend from the Syracuse, NY area and she raced WERA in Pink leathers. I met her in the early stages of WSB when they raced at Mosport Canada. They had one or two runs at Brainerd MN then left our continent, Bastards! After 32 years of riding here's some advice, "Be aware of someone who has the cajunas to ride in or on pink!"
  12. Color me dumbass. Why is it so difficult for me to post a fucking picture here?????????

    Snow Day!

The Otis van is buried at the end of my driveway blocking me from getting my truck on the road, oh darn! Looks like the knobbies on the DR-Z are gonna have some fun today Pops
  14. A KTM 400 series dual sport. Don't get me wrong, I love my Zuke DR-Z400SM, but.........
  15. After four days in the hospital I finally got released Friday afternoon. My highlights were two. One, I could turn the heat up as much as I wanted to. Two, Satan and CBR Girl gave me a visit and we fucked with the hospital robot. My low lights were two. One was tieing off my varices through my throat with rubber bands, kind of like tieing off a nut sack with a rubber band until it falls off. Two, liver biopsie. Shove a fucking horse syringe into your liver, suck out out a chunk and do it again just in case the first time wasn't fun enough. So anyway, Clutch picks me up and we come to the conclusion that I have made it another day above ground and I should go to Lodi and buy the set of Excel Pro Series, 18" rear 21" front, wheels complete with the Michelin Cross Competition tyres. After several hours of figuring out the spacers to make the narrow dirt wheels replace the wide 17" motard wheels I was ready to ride. They did tell me one minor detail in the hospital, "Be carefull, you could bleed out with something as minor as a nose bleed. Don't live your life in a bubble but......." Message heard, received maybe. At seven O'Clock tonight I was giving Suzi all the trottle I could handle across the fields. The best part was that the snow made everything look level, so it was Game On! I love the unknown. I end up looking like Owndjoo at MidOhio last season, only I'm laughing while I'm laying in the snow under a three hundred pound bike . Pick her up and git it again, ahhhh Life is Good! Enjoy it while you can. Pops
  16. OK! Take your tampons out and find a mini bike! The pond is froze solid enough for ice races. I stoked the fire pit today. My 400 is too big, the small bikes, 80 to 125 small wheel work best at the PPP. I'll provide the tek screws for the tires and the place to play. Keepin' it slideways is a great way to hone your skills. Pops
  17. 79 in Costa Rica. Four years, three months, twenty five days!
  18. You funny guy ! Brad and Jill are the owners and are friends of mine. You probably just blew a free beer. Lemme know next time you go out there I'll meet you. Was gonna fire up the bike tonight but the lock on the vault was frozen.
  19. Kawboy is one of, if not, the biggest jackasses you'll ever meet. But, he is my friend. Pretty sure he's not nervous in his new residence now that he's gone State in Lancaster.
  20. Taxes are back. $3K max, minimum size 6'x12' enclosed. Inside height must be a minimum 6'. I'm not travelling too far to buy one, if it's smaller than what you just read, I'm not interested. Don't wear your neanderthal knuckles out trying to convince me otherwise. Pops
  21. Tell Brad and Jill Jeff Paskey says hey
  22. I'm tellin ya. The Chilly Chile run New Year's day is the best!. This was the first in eight years I didn't make it, it helps to have a bike. Now that I have a motard, look out, going to pick up the Excel wheels and knobbies Saturday, a few tek screws in the knobs for the icy spots, or a lap around the pond.......
  23. No doubt! Glad to see you're a Japanese Celeb!!! Wait til you see my new ride
