  9. Be nice. I had my HD for ten years and 60.000 miles with only one break down. Are you going to Mid Ohio? Gotta run, my dish receiver fried Friday and I can't watch the NASCAR race here. I'll be at Average Joe's with Clutch and whoever. We'll leave the Mom/Daughter and Father/Son comments out of this.
  10. I was thinking there's probably one in the Short North. Jokes aside, try Rice Paddy. I'll get some grief for the reference but too bad. Have cash in hand and know what you're looking for.
  11. Clutch, myself and some other friends meet at Average Joes to grab a bite to eat and just hang out on their patio. It faces Lazelle on the NW corner of Lazelle and Sancus in the Polaris area. I know I told someone that I would meet up at QS&L last night, and I apologize for not making it, but VectorVictor stopped by and we sat outside 'til well after 1:00AM. I'll be there around 1:00 today.
  12. Dude, do I detect an attitude? You better get on yer honda and beeline it to the PPP!

  16. Local law enforcement plans SuperBike weekend crackdown By LOU WHITMIRE News Journal MANSFIELD -- Local law enforcement plans a "zero tolerance" policy for Superbike weekend. They'll target motorists on Hanley Road and Ohio 13 South, plus those traveling the Miracle Mile, on Aug. 3. That's the first day of the Honda Super Cycle Weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, and the stepped-up enforcement on the city's south side is in conjunction with Snow Trails' Bike Fest from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Aug. 3. An increased police presence is the only "official" activity planned for the Miracle Mile. In past years, Skilken Properties and McCune Cycle World have had an event similar to the Bike Fest at the West Park Shopping Center. "Part of the reasoning for us offering this event was answering the call of the city, the Richland County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Skilken Properties, in a way we can bring everyone together to enjoy these adrenaline-based activities in an organized manner and still have fun," Snow Trails marketing manager Nate Wolleson said. Fat Daddy's House of Bones will grill ribs and chicken breasts, offer pulled-pork sandwiches and more. The event will include extreme sports shows, live music, activities and more, according to the facility's Web site. It costs $5 for adults and $2 for kids younger than 12. Kids can enjoy reverse bungee, rock wall and a bounce house. For information, visit snowtrails.com. Wolleson said he understands the increased law enforcement presence. "We expect to draw at least a couple thousand people to the Bike Fest," said Wolleson, who was unaware of plans for stepped-up enforcement on Hanley Road and Ohio 13 South until the News Journal called. On Friday, Mansfield Police Department Community Services Bureau Capt. Marijan Grogoza, in a prepared statement on Superbike weekend, announced the plans. "Law abiding citizens who come to our city to ride and showcase their motorcycles are welcome and encouraged, but zero tolerance enforcement efforts are planned to apprehend those who operate their motorcycles or motor vehicles in a reckless and dangerous manner," she said in a news release. The law enforcement response includes: Mansfield Police Department. Ontario Police Department. Richland County Sheriff's Department. Ohio Highway Patrol. Ohio Highway Patrol Aviation Section. Ohio Highway Patrol Criminal Enforcement Unit. Ohio Highway Patrol Motorcycle Unit. Ohio Highway Patrol OVI Tactical Squad. Richland County Community Policing Probation & Parole Partnership Plain-clothes detectives from several agencies. Grogoza said uniformed patrol units will saturate several areas and watch for traffic violations. Additional patrols will check parking lots for open containers, alcohol abuse, drug violations and trespassing. The patrol will operate drunk driving checkpoints. "If you plan to consume alcohol, please be sure to designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink," Grogoza said. Lt. Michael Vinson, Mansfield patrol post commander, said, "Richland County has experienced six fatal accidents so far in 2007, with three of them being motorcycle crashes. With 50 percent of the fatal crashes in our county involving motorcycles, we will be vigilant about safety and enforcement during Super Bike Weekend." Mansfield police Lt. Dino Sgambellone said, "Historically, this event has been marred by a small percentage of violators. A significant police presence is required to ensure that these violators do not impact the safety of the law-abiding motoring public within Richland County." Mansfield Asst. Police Chief James J. Boyer added, "We welcome cyclists and spectators to our area and we want them to gave a great weekend. Our enforcement efforts will be targets to keep them safe and secure while enjoying all the area has to offer." Sheriff Steve Sheldon told the News Journal on Friday afternoon that SuperBike Weekend is a huge event. "And we just want to make sure there is adequate law enforcement presence. We want people to have fun but also feel safe and secure," Sheldon said. lwhitmire@nncogannett.com 419-521-7223 DeleteReplyForwardSpamMove...
  17. Yes! Generally you register at the starting point. At each stop you draw a card and it is marked under your name. At the final stop whoever has the best poker hand wins. The best part about any poker run is that it's for something or someone special. Riding for a purpose.
  18. And I watched that why???
  19. That is the most well put response I've heard! That's how we may lose our firearm rights, and if anyone is as old as me, that's how Joan Claybrook almost got motorcycles banned. Just look it up in the archives of the AMA, the seventies was real close to the end of motorcycles in the USA. If you're not a registerd voter you better be one or shut the Fuck up. Your vote does count!
  20. OH AND GO BEN AND MAT!!!!TEAM SUZUKI I thought Mat was riding a moped since Ben signed on.
  21. When you get it, can I use it to moe the lawn at the PPP? I'll give it back in about ten minutes.
  22. I'm from Youngstown, grew up real close to Mill Creek Park and graduated from Chaney in 74. Moved to Columbus from Denver in 87. My best friend that I grew up with is one year older than me and his son is one year older than Clutch, my son. Well, we used to race this dude from Cinci for a specific camp spot since 88. After we got tired of the sponges, my two friends (Youngstown & Cinci) just find our own spot and love life for the weekend. I lived on Shelby Rd. close to the Old Mill and not too far from Idora Park, now closed. What part are you in?
  23. HolyShit You are still alive!!! Are you sure you want your wife to party with me again????? Wait 'til you see the new pit bike. Is Rusty Trombone coming too? We all know the bald one is no longer allowed. the answer is yes.
  24. I'm pretty pissed about their one sided poll! I know I'll calm down, but right now I'm taking this one off the hook. BITCH! You made it personal now by not accepting my vote without an opinion. The Columbus Dispatch is asking for a vote that will not be accepted without an opinion. I gave my opinion without foul language or names, but you all know how opiniated I can get, and mine got canned by some piss ant republican run propoganda newspaer! I'm only getting started.
