shit you guys have NO idea, "unions suck", "management sucks", blah blah blah come work for the gov't. I'll will be back in a minute I have to go wake up some workers and ask them how they feel about these issues
I guess it doesnt really matter what ChrisOH or Lizard are fighting about (suspension theory) because there was an obvious problem with the bike. Tell them to give you your money back and go buy from someone else. Maybe the owner is a great guy but it doesnt really matter, nobody gives me money just because I am nice. From what focusdave said the salesman was not truthfull in his "sales pitch" and for that they dont deserve your money. The fact that you did not get any help until the issue went public is another sign that they dont deserve your money. Tell them to fire the salesman and you will keep the bike, or they can keep the bike and the salesman
you can either get the header and midpipe from the 1000 and use your bolt on or get the 1000 header and an k5-k6 1000 slipon. The difference in weight is amazing
As-Is doesnt mean that they can sell you any piece of shit that they want to. It means that they have honestly let you know what the state of the bike was and given you the oppurtunity to "inspect" the bike. They were aware of the problems with the bike, I dont think it would hard for a lawyer to prove, they are a motorcycle dealer and in the business of motorcycles so ignorance is not an excuse.
your fuel injectors have plenty of room for more horse power, so a dry kit with a second map would be just fine. Do a progressive controller so that less strain will be put on the clutch and transmission parts.
