Joseph E. Brown, 29, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, reportedly failed to negotiate a curve when he was riding uphill eastbound on his 2002 Yamaha. According to Trooper Kevin Thompson, Brown leaned it over and was ejected from the motorcycle, which then skipped across the grass. Brown, who was wearing his helmet, died of injuries he sustained, despite the efforts the Hanover Township Fire Department, paramedics from both KLG and Rural Metro and medical personnel on a STAT Medivac helicopter. Thompson said Brown was an experienced rider, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Arrangements for Brown are pending at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home, Salem.
