I'll have to look into posting each event on the Calendar, didn't know I could do that, thought it was a mod thing? Yes, the stock XR100 spec class should be a fun time! U can find a XR100 for less than $1k on craigslist all day long, slap some slicks on it and you'll be out there bump'n elbows and dran'n knee all day long. If anyone wants to know the cost of racing, let me know. It is very cheap!

And yes, kids are allowed to race with us. Min age is 7/8yrs old, but it is up to me to let younger kids race based on if they have raced motorcycles before. This is where kids get their foot in the door for roadracing! We offer coaching classes if you would like some from our "seasoned" members to show your kids around the track and give them some one on one time! A lot of us grown ups that race with OYL, also race RS125's, 600's and 1K bikes also! OYL has two new classes for 2010, one of them is a Stock XR100 only class! Should be fun for everyone and a great way to get into the sport cheap! We offer competitive racing for 50cc to 100cc 2-stroke motorcycles, up to 150cc liquid cooled 4-stroke motorcycles, up to 200cc air-cooled 4-stroke motorcycles, and 250cc (max displacement) two stroke scooters. We have a family style atmosphere at the track and are all there to have fun! The two tracks we are racing at for 2010 are Circleville Raceway Park (CRP), located in Circleville Ohio and the other is BeaveRun Motorsports Located near Beaver Falls, PA! Both are great tracks and we run CRP in both directions! I think they are all in a parallel universe and everyone that landed in LA is going to move on living their lives and what not there, but the rest of them that are on the island are stuck there! The new people (or new others) are/were there the whole time, you just had to go thru that "temple" area underground to find it and nobody has done that yet untill now! Jacob was the one who brought them all there to help protect him and the island from the guy that is in Locks body! Yeah, the other guy that is playing Lock (the one that was sitting on the beach with Jacob and wanted to kill him after he found his loop hole) is the smoke monster! How cool is that!

Shoot... we have a race that weekend and I wanted to show up and support the event with our club.. maybe next year?

Thats cool.. yeah I thought it had the radio in the helmet... thats cool! And yes.. we have it easy.. unless you get woke up like I did this morning at 4am for someone that was having problems breathing for 2 days.. just decided to call us at 4am! WTF?? So, JD.. do you know this guy or work for Obetz PD? I'm glad to see him with a helmet on, but you would think being in public safety that they would have more gear?? Maybe it has to do with the rest of the protective equipment that police officers have to have on? I don't know what other equipment a motorcycle cop has to have on..What do I know... I'm just a firefighter! HAHA Also, is the training requirements for being able to ride on the street with a motorcycle the same for all bikes or do the sportbike cops have to go thru a different class? Just asking... I'd be a cop if I could ride one of those all day... wait... never mind! I'll stick to watching movies and eating sno-cones all day at the fd!

Casper.. I hear ya on that one! My wife and I had razers and had to replace the battery on them 2 times! BTW, I just jumped ship and went with the Iphone 3gs! I'm so happy with it, why the hell didn't I switch from verizon to at&t sooner! I get coverage at all the places I'm at where my crappy verizon phone would not, and I can do so much more! I got the wife one as well and can't get her off the damn thing!

I thought Alum was closed until spring.. at least that is what the big STOP/Closed sign says when you try and enter the trails... says something about getting a fine if caught?? I rode on the trails last spring (if you remember we had a few warm/dry weeks in March) and there were a bunch of people on the trail when that STOP/Closed sign was posted.

When you get a MT bike, we'll have to go ride when the trails open up! Its a great workout and gets ya ready for racing!

I'm looking to do something different with our club (OYL) and pass out what WERA and other bike clubs pass out.. a number plate with a big number 1, 2, or 3 on it, stating what class it is and what not. I've searched google and found nothing. Does anyone know where I can get these at? Really all I would need would be the plastic plate, and then I can run to fast signs and have the graphics made up. Something that looks like this..
