  1. I finally got the girl back together last weekend. Installed new shims, brake and clutch lines. When I started it up I had to shut off right away. Lots of valve noise from the rear cylinder. Removed the tank and rear valve cover. Low and behold the exhaust cam was off one tooth. Corrected the issue and now she sounds great. Can't wait to get her out on the road.

  2. I haven't ordered from either company and appears I won't. I did have a great experience with KneeDraggers.com.

I ordered a front Goodridge brake line kit and when I was torquing the master cylinder banjo bolt it broke. I requested an RMA and in the request I stated I would be happy with getting a replacement bolt and washers. I received a new Goodridge bolt washer kit that week. So instead of having to remove and ship the lines back they came through with the parts I needed.

    +1 to KneeDraggers.Com

  3. i had bought a craftsman one, and it about stripped out my drain plug. it never clicked.

i was pretty heated about it, so i opted for something a bit nicer.

That's where I'm at now. I just broke a banjo bolt on my new brake lines. Not sure if it was the wrench or the bolt. Though KneeDreggers is thinking it's the bold.

  4. Yes, fucking hilarious, I've been nursing this problem for months and keep getting pissed, put her in the corner and forget about her for a few more weeks. I've got a multimeter but I don't know a whole lot about electrical issues.

H3ere is an electrical schematic for the 2000 model.

I'm not sure if it's the same as the 2003.

  5. Here's the point... to enter the Mediterranean Sea, subs must travel a narrow specific course to avoid detection as well as simply getting there through a deep channel. Chances are both subs were doing that, which increased the odds of a collision. There's only a few places in the world where something like that might happen under water, and that's one of them. Even if both France and England claim they were somewhere else when it happened. They wouldn't want to give away important exact locations. Expensive error.

On our Med cruse we actually had to wait for a specific time window to enter/exit through the Straits of Gibraltar.
