  1. Mexico? I'd pick New Zealand or Ireland.
  2. The sportbike on US35W was a red zx9r.
  3. 1098? Why when you can get the 11? Sportrider said the 1198 was a TORTURE RACK.
  4. It's all I see when I'm in town. Yesterday in my car I passed so many on the streets, squinting their faces cuz of the wind and trying not to lose their glasses. Saw one guy chilling on his cell leaning against his bike wearing sandals and shorts...
  5. I just saw a commercial for the NOON news today and what will be on it. They showed the 2 wrecks. The 1 that happened on the city streets with the car was a ElectraGlide Harley it looked like and they said they are looking for the driver of the car. The one on US35 through downtown that had the broken leg was a sportbike it looked like.
  6. Hope whoever was involved though turns out to be OK and it was just a few broken bones.
  7. new bike? You aren't just getting a newer version of what you already have are you?
  8. This guy may know the story probably.. He mentions Thursdays too which was last night.
  9. Damn Aerik, this past week your threads have led me to believe you ARE one big fucking nerd. :
  10. It's sad to watch a bike leave you, but the new one helps you get over it really quick.
  11. Wife and 2 9 week old boys and im going. Wife knows how much riding means to me.

    Want.

I thought LSR = Land Speed Racing? It's not only done at the Salt Flats Max, but it's done at Maxton in North or South Carolina ( I can't recall which Carolina it's in) and the Texas Mile down in Texas. Lee Shierts rode a Turbo Busa to 264.### mph there. From a stand still in one mile. That is amazing. LSR is why the tank and shit is shaved down to GET down.
  13. Zoom in on route 10 and 22 and find the best way for you to get to them by back tracking on the map from where you would be coming from.
  14. On a lighter side........I saw your picture again in SuperStreetBike.
  15. Amazing tasting brew.
  16. You guys just gave me my first smile this morning. I love the bear picture reference. Nah, I didn't get to get the bike out yesterday Don. I was putting on a new front and rear tire and got done around 5pm. Then went on a SUV cruise with the wife and kids cuz she wanted to get out with them while it was still sunny. We picked up some dinner and brought it home and then hung out all night. I will be riding the rest of the weekend hopefully though.
  17. I live about 1/2 mile or less from that highway near downtown where those were and you can hear bikes SCREAMING down it all night long. Lots of your parking lot queens do it when they're traveling back and forth. Also, they will do loops around Dayton using the highways. They hit 75S, 675N, to 35W back to down town hauling ass the whole way and riding wheelies. When I read that they were going 100+ by witnesses, I instantly got a feeling it was some people doing that crap. They gather in the Oregon district a lot and do that shit.
  18. I can't answer those, but here is a great deal that I just bought for my bike. Steel Braided line kit with color choices and FREE HH brake pads. http://www.indysuperbikes.com/Isb1/Galfer_Sportbike_Brake_Line_Kit_Kawasaki_ZX14R__Front_p_117798.html
  19. I understand and respect your views. I'm just a HP/Torque junkie and love tunnel vision from acceleration. Also, redkow, There are many roads nearby that have nobody around. I've sat and talked taking a break on a nice 2lane road before between Jamestown and Wilmington for about 30 minutes and not one vehicle came by. Those are the roads man.
  20. Sorry, I think I'm to blame for that.
  21. I will agree, riding a route you know really well backwards is always a challenge.
