get an AR derek, I have both of them. AK sits around most of the time unless I want to rapid fire 90rds and tear something up.

yep its easy measure the turning torque on the pinion nut tear it down and replace the seal I always go about 5ftlbs heavy on the turning torque when it goes back together if I don't replace the crush sleeve
thanks dave, i never replace crush sleeves, just looks like I gotta find one of those torque wrenches.

I love my springfield armory TRP Operator, expensive but worth it.

have to see if i can find a torque wrench like that. it's actually the front diff too. I may just keep adding fluid

pinion seal is leaking on my sport trac and i'm too lazy to tear the diff all apart. anyone ever change the pinion seal without tearing it apart? I'm just used to changing them when i'm gear swapping or something.

I keep a Glock 23 .40 near me while sleeping. Also a mossberg 500 20 gauge pistol grip within reach. I've never had one single malfunction of any of my glocks. Shotgun is the best home defense gun. The sound of "racking" the action is enough to scare most and you don't need precision aim with buckshot.

I used to carry glock 23, went to glock 27, also have a keltec .32 for the ankle. ankle gun is very nice, very comfortable
