lol...not weaving, tight figure 8's a few times is all...i also do it to get the clag off after a trackday.. so how do you get it off the edges if ya dont lean it over? the last set of pilot powers i bought last year like every other year and set ive bought, are like ride'n on ice till the mold release is off....and it sure as hell is not as squidish as use'n frick'n sand paper hahahhaahahhahaaha...im not go'n to a track with fresh non-scrubbed tires(especially without warmers)....its just a routine ive done for years and im comfy with it.....call me a squid if ya want, i dont care lol..ask fonzie,ive ridden with him quite a few times here in findlay, im far from be'n a squid lol...its all good...

i know its an old thread....but i usually go to the mall parking lot and do figure 8's and just keep get'n lower and lower till im on the edge of the tire and make sure all the mold release is off and your good to go.......it takes like 10 minutes at most...plus its fun watch'n all the people flip'n out on me drag'n a knee in the parking lot at 10 m.p.h. lol....i do that with every new set of tires i get(which is around 2 sets a year)...

i have a buddy that works at a shop for semi's, and he finds golfballls all the time in semi tires when he has to change them.. there must be some truth to the science of it.. but noway would i put anything in my bike tires..

lemmie know when ya get your dates setup.. im plan'n on do'n mid-o again this year a few times, along with grattan...im run'n 1:45-1:47's at mid-o, hope'n to improve on that myself lol..and i'd like to be down around 1:34's/1:35's at grattan...

i havent been on any group rides with you guys, but the ones i have been on with another forum group on 64/65 and 105 is single file anything over 100 m.p.h. and donot pass or come around on the right because we will not be look'n for ya there.....in 6 years theres only been 4 crashes that i know of(all minor runoffs but 1)... the faster guys are always up front and pull away, do there thing and wait at the next stop sign.. but the one thing that pisses me off, is some squid try'n to keep up with us that has no clue about holding a line, body positioning, and apexing corners... all i can say, is if you take me out and im still able to move,ya better be ready to get your ass kicked hard... but in all honesty, since ive been do'n trackdays now for a few years, street riding is kinda lame anymore..it aint worth the risk or the tickets.. just remember, what might seem crazy fast and out of control to some people/squids,its well within the limits of the rider doing it..

i bought one of the competition werx kits..it came with front and rear flush mount turn sigs. and taglight.. it mounts on a spring loaded hinged/pivioting backing plate that mounts under the battery box area.. been pulled over a few times(not because of that) and it was never even mentioned by the cops... heres a pic off there website..
