  1. You can find any of the above much cheaper than an E30. Also, they are not at all "light", and have notorious rear sub-frame issues.
  2. Listen-I have researched this years ago in terms on the best "go fast for cheap" RWD platform. I looked at cost/easy to find CHEAP, aftermarket support, stock weight, wheel base, width, tire size (max rear size), stopping power/upgradeability of stock brakes, strength of stock drive line. For these factors, I came up with 1)FB 2)Miata 3)FC 4)S13/14 5)Fox Body (Notch) After that-"good" swap shells get to expensive and/or hard to find to go on my short list.
  3. This guy has 2 contact me bill wcs7475@gmail.com This guy has an 84. Mint, no rust. Still running $800 odo "text me 5138241746" 1983 RX7 runs and needs brakes $500 obo 440-463-7479 1979 1979 Mazda RX-7 12a/Manual, Odo says 57,866. 440-951-4000 And this is without even touching craigslist....
  4. Pull a Colt out of a Junkyard, hand me 20k, and you could go 8's@180mph. Its the dumbest argument for a stock vs. stock race. On that note, why has a mod not changed this kids name officially to "ZEEFAG" ?
  5. IN-but it woul dbe a pain with a T56. There is no "bolt on" option I know of. You could use a AWD Blazer transfer case, the main case out of a Viper, the midsection that bolt to the rear of a C5 vette, And you'd still have to build your own adapter.
  6. Nope. I actually have no clue what I'm talking about. I was just providing evidence of it.
  7. I actually assembled the first motor for the car, and fabricated most of the header. But you are indeed the expert in speed here. Im sure you have tuned 8 second street cars, Im sure you have built 150+ trap speed street cars. I am sure you have pioneered engine swaps (more than one mind you) that no one has done before. I am sure you have built or designed parts for some of the fastest cars and bikes in our hobby of various make, and model. (Stephanie Eggum, Albert Lioe-a-tjam, Dennis MOTORHEAD, Busa Wade...). And beyond all that-Im sure you yourself have owned, and Jockeyed, some one the fastest street cars and bikes every to be on this forum. With all your have done, Im sure my qualifications for making shit go fast would pale in comparison. So, what does your resume of experience include?
  8. Yup. I Dont know shit. This is the Corolla we switched to since the Starlet was so sketchy up top. http://www.buschurracing.com/racing-jerrytoyota.htm I had my hands on this car more than Dave Buschur himself. I was actually the one that facilitated David tuning the car when we switched to AEM. It was only 60lbs heavier than the starlet, stock for stock. But yes, I don't know what I'm talking about. I am sure you have much more experience than I with very high HO light, RWD platforms. So, I will let you, the expert, have the reins here.
  9. My Eyeballs is all the research I need. I have witnessed one on the scale, stock 12a. 1875 lbs GLS-SE will weight more. Is that the only point your going to refute? Thats not much of an argument brosef.
  10. So says the Toyota nut-swinger. 1) Those weights you are comparing is a STOCK STARLET to a 5.0 swapped FB! LOL FB's are way under 2k with Rotaries in them, and I have seen a stock starlet on a scale, and it was over 1800lbs. 2) Aero sucks if he's trying to do anything involving highway racing/standing mile 3) FB is longer he's trying to do anything involving highway racing/standing mile 4) FB has MUCH better aftermarket/factory options (GLS-SE brakes, suspension..ect) 5) Have fun finding a starlet for 2 dollars. There are 5 clean FB shells for sale, right now (one being a GLS-SE big brake/rear end car) for sale right now for $500 and down.
  11. AND it fits under the stock fucking hood.
  12. Lightest RWD solid axle you will find with any aftermarket. Since its solid Axle- easily/cheaply upgradeable to unbreakable parts. Great aero for the price Easy to find rust free shells, since Rotary motors are as reliable as aids in Africa. I only know of one, stock as aids, and it goes bottom 11's on chrome wheels and street tires.
  13. $10,500 is a good deal for something that will be a "shell"?
  14. Sell me the LS1 Or, but it into an FB. Cheapest-fastest possible budget rocket. Trust me, I have done my research.
  15. I agree, its BS. But, unfortunately most sleazy lawyers can get even questionable CH.7 By a judge.
  16. Funny How much faster all Vehicles in this video will be this season....
