  6. Shit-according to several people I know, they also got "free" fuel pumps-checked out and everything, but no word on shipping and pick up yet.
  7. Supra Tails gone. Add Honda ZC starter
  8. PM's replied Update-well its even more complete than I though! I already ran the fuel lines to/from the fuel cell. Also, the throttle cable is figured out! Man, I got a lot of time in this thing. And MAN-I just cleaned it up and got it back on the ground-now I remember why I wanted to build it. It looks pretty boss with the motor sitting back there.
  9. Everything I post here is free unless noted-money ain't a thing and Im trying to clean up!!! RX-7 Turbo 2 gauge cluster. Mint working- 114k on the odo. 93-97 Supra Tail lights- I know there are worth much more- but $20 takes em. Working rebuilt (autozone) Distributor and Starter for Honda ZC engine RX7 FC Ash tray- WORKING-yeah the one that always breaks! More to come-
  10. Ducting through one or both of the sail windows. Really, an Air to Water set up would be optimal here.
  11. You call-both have small town feel, but Sandusky gets crowded in the summer
  12. Make history! Be the first and have all the hard work done for you. As it sits, the engine is mounted-the rear suspension is done, tie rods solid, basically all frame work is done. Shifter rods are also built, the new brake lines have been run and bled. All that needs to be done to make the car fire is a harness, and fuel lines. Beyond that- mount a radiator where you like, put a clutch master in, runt hat line, and go run 11's. I want to see this car done, but between work, my Busa Modding, and 200+mph goals-I have realized this is not the car for me. The car is a 1986 CRX Si. NO RUST. IT was a FWD drag car, and has a one fiberglass piece front clip (looks stock). Right now the car sits with a full 4G61t, F5M33 trans, Fidanza flywheel, new 2600/6 puck, 14b. Fuel cell with 255 is in front. It also has an ETS inter cooler with all plumbing ran. I plan on taking all that out and sell the car as a shell. At this point-it needs minimum fab work. to run. Just some chassis/frame reinforcement-and all exhaust/fuel lines/water lines ran. Considering its 1800lbs weight, it wont take much to go fast. If you want it "as is" with the motor/trans/Fuel cell I'd sell it for $1500. But what I'd like to do is give someone the shell that would be willing to finish the car. If you want to buy the shell with the title and be done with it-I'll ask $400. Pics here. I will likely be getting more in the next few days of its current condition. http://s1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/4G63CRX/
  13. I've known you that long? Thats almost unbelievable itself!
  14. Nice, quiet town with cheap housing- and plenty to do. Put in Bay is the best weekend outing spot in Ohio, period. If you Married- its a party. If your single, you'll come back with Aids. Cedar Point, Norwalk- and Cleveland just a short drive away. I'd make the move.
  15. It was 1.5L But yes, that was fucking terrible-but it did have 3 TV's, a Ps1 and a VCR, so that's obviously cool. :bangbang: I agree. I dont want another spin out at 200mph. Trust me its not fun. Really-I could scrap it and be "up". so cost/benefit is not the issue. At this point- its literally a wire harness, and fuel line away from firing up. Then, some minor details. I will list everything int he soon to come for sale thread
  16. SO, got a "free" fuel pump- it did not charge me for shipping. Do I have to call and make pick up/shipping arrangements?
  17. Who KNOWS what it worth running or not! And I didn't build the car for someone else to think its cool-I built it because I think its cool. I'd think that anyone who build a car for other people to think as "cool" is a pretty sad motherfucker. But hey-RWD, cheap, first even 4g rear engine...blah blah blah, I like one off shit that is faster than you'd guess. This just wont be fast enough.
  18. Due to traveling the country for the last 2 months- and now a heavy work load, not much of anything has changed with the Rear Engine CRX. It sits with motor/trans mounted-all the difficult fab work done, only needing a wire harness, and fuel lines to fire. At this point-I have come to a realization with the CRX sitting in my garage likely is not the best option for my goals with my next build. More power than the old Colt (700whp plus, plus), 200+ in the Mile, single digit 1/4 mile ET's, still comfortable street able. The car is, and will be cool as shit-but with the chassis design, super short wheel base, and lack of Aero or front end weight/down force, I think ti will be quite sketchy at speed. It will be a great stock motor, 12 to 11 second toy-but thats not going to cut it for me. That being said-do I even bother finishing the car? With work, some school, rental properties, and my ever growing desire to see the world-my time is at a premium and my free time needs to be focused on a car that will do what I need it to. I'm admitting now that the CRX although cool- will not be that car. So do I finish it just to see it do a burnout, and sell it? Or, sell the sell to someone that will finish and enjoy it? I already doubled my money selling the engine and trans that came out for the car- so I'd be selling it for just more than scrap value. Give me your opinions...
  19. I got mine on sale from Rogers. I still have not found anything from any store that compared in cut/weight/clarity for the price. And no offense, but I would never buy something like this over the net. If you care about the "meaning", I would hope that the significant of what the fuck you were getting into warranted you at least acting like a man' putting the ring in your hands, really looking at it- and saying "this is the one". I think there is something to be said about that. I think goofs that buy it over the net, or take the girl to "pick one out" are just trying to appease the monster, or are to focused on the "it" to really consider just what IT entails. May sound like an old man, but I'm by no means old school.
  20. Yup- I talked a good friend in Vegas to pick up a 335i-he left the dealer yesterday getting a Dana Stage 2 kit installed, and he says it now feels faster than his M6! With FULL FACTORY WARRANTY
  21. Just a ported head?!?!??!?! NICE. But thinking about it-2Jz and 4Banger 4G63's are going 6's on ported stock heads, but its obviously a different animal. Awesome fucking car.
  22. Yes, any day of the fucking week if you have any concerns of reliability. With a new car It's king of a wash, but there is a reason you see a ton of older 3 series cars on the road many with 3ook or more miles-and here nothing but horror stories about similar year A4's, Jettas...ect.
  23. Still sinlge? For you this is a No Brain-er. 997 or GT2. Fits all your requirements and can be as fats as you need it to be. For less- M3 650i or M6 (be surprised how cheap they are) 335i (coupe) If you want to up your budget- GTR In that order.
